"Can I come in?" I asked him, in a low shameful voice.
"Yes, yes. Why not?" he went in, I picked Emily and went in. "Who is this girl?" he asked. I placed her down on a sofa. I went in the kitchen and came back with a glass of water. I gave her.
"She is Emily, Emily he is my grandfather, my dad's father." Emily waved hi to him.
"What is going on?" he asked in frustration. He sat on one sofa. I also sat there, near her.
"Well, we are travelling to Alaska, I thought I should come here and have a visit."
"Oh, okay. Why are you going there?" he asked, born curios. Our whole family.
"Um," I looked towards Emily. She was listening to us. "Why don't you sleep for some time." She shook her head.
"I have slept all the way."
"Ok. You want to eat something?" her mood gone up.
"Yes, what do you have?" I turned towards my grandfather.
"I have apples and some fresh carrots." He answered.
"I love carrots." She stood up. I pointed towards the kitchen. She went in. she could walk this much, okay. I turned towards him.
"Okay, here is the thing." I told him about the mental health and cure.
"Oh, I get it. So, what is relation to her?" Old man, with no wits.
"I love her grandpa. How didn't you get it?"
"Oh, after the accident or it was before." Okay, I told him about everything between Emily and me.
"Oh, I am sorry."
"It's okay."
"You are staying then?"
"No, I don't. I just came to say hi to you."
"Hmm, so you need any help about anything?"
"No, I don't."
"Okay. Just eat something and then go, or is it too late?"
"I am going to stay here for some time. I want to eat something. You have veg food?"
"So you didn't changed?"
"No."
"Okay. I have some canned food and some fruits. Eat them." The sound came from the kitchen. I quickly got up and ran in there. She was banging the pots with the stirrer. Oh, she was having fun. I just leaned on the door, kept watching her. Grandpa placed his hand on my shoulder and gave me a nod.
"You have ukulele?" I asked him instantly.
"Of course, you don't ask that question to a Clifford." I laughed, he went in the living room and came back with the ukulele. I took it from his hands and tuned it. Emily was staring at me.
"Come." She stood up and followed me. "Sit here. You ready grandpa?"
"Born ready." He picked one pot and a stirrer.
We started singing one of our favourite songs, WHAT MAKES YOU COUNTRY by Luke Bryan, it was a good song. Grandpa was perfect with the beats and my ukulele was also good. We were halfway to the song and our door banged open.
"You are singing this without us? How dare you?" the old gang, with old women. Grandpa signed them to come in. we started again, we were happy. We just kept going all in unison. After the song finished, they started new, I didn't know the lyrics, I hand over my ukulele to one of them and they started, I clapped.
I looked towards Emily, she was also humming, I gave her a sign to clap the hands, it's a good way to be in the song. She started clapping. I went in the kitchen and ate some apples. I wanted the real food but no, there was nothing. I just ate everything I got. I did some stretching on the kitchen itself. The song was on. after some time, like 20 minutes or something and 6 songs later I went in the living room. The song was not on. I leaned towards the door.
One old women was talking to Emily, everybody was laughing and high fiving, it was a good moment. I went out and took out my camera. I took pictures of them, candid. Emily was also happy. After some time they noticed me.
"Well, I think one group photo is must." I said to them. They agreed. "Everybody come out. We will capture it outside." They came out.
I took their pictures, Emily in between of them all. She was so happy. After some time, it was time to go.
"Can we not stay here?" she asked me in a baby voice.
"We have a lot to cover, it's just a first day. You want to see the snow or not?"
"Yes."
"Then we should leave now." I turned towards everybody. "Thank you for this wonderful evening. I hope we will come here, when we come back. Thank you." They gave me a nod. I turned towards my grandpa. He never cried when I went apart from him, but today he was. I didn't know why. I gave him a hug and wiped his eyes. "We have a lot to see." He gave me a nod.
I turned towards my bike, Emily was sitting on her seat. She was looking towards other lake. It was becoming dark, I quickly started engine. I looked back, I waved them and headed towards the road. Emily fell on my back and gave me a hug. She didn't wore the gloves. I stopped the bike and helped her to wear them, and then went on, again.
I stopped near the mall. "You want to shop anything?" I asked her. She shook her head. "Wait here, I will be her in a minute. Okay." I walked with the bike towards the gas station. I filled the tank. And parked it, went in. I searched for the scarf. I brought the two of them and came out. I wore one on my neck. Her neck was open, I covered it with the scarf. "Let's go." I headed towards the main road.
I headed on 9th road, and went to Helflin, I wanted to go to Piedmont, and it was going to dark in some time. I quickly turned on 78th road. And went straight. I knew when to go right, I took a right from the crossroad. And went straight. It was highway 9, according to google, I went straight. Yeah, google was helping, but I was choosing my destinations.
After, I think 45 minutes of driving, it was very dark and trees were all over the area. I went straight and I saw a small to, yeah, it was piedmont. I drove slowly, I was on the main street. I stopped my bike near one gas station. Some teenagers were hanging around. I stopped near them.
"Hey." I shouted towards them. I couldn't go there because Emily was sleeping on my back. One of them came near me.
"What happened?" he scanned my bike. "Nice bike, man."
"Thanks. I just want to ask you that, is there any lodge outside the city, I mean on that way." I pointed straight. He thought for some time, and went back to his gang. He asked some of the kids, and came back.
"There is one at the end of the city area. I think 200 meters from here. Why man?"
"I just want to spend the night. Thanks for your help." I saluted him. He did back. I went ahead. After some time, I saw the board and went in. It was empty, of course. I wanted to live in the mountains but this was just day one, so we could do this after some time. I shook her shoulder, she woke up with rubbing her eyes. As she stretched her arms the voice of cracking busted out. We both laughed. It was a sound of popping. "Wait, I will ask them and I will come back." I went in.
"Can I have a big room, for two people, we want a very big bed." I told her.
"Yes, follow me."
"You have some garage or something?"
"Yes, on the back of the building."
"Ok. Wait I will come back with my friend." I went near Emily. "Can you walk?" I asked her.
"Yes." She stood up and started walking. I gave her my hand. We walked in.
"It's on the first floor." Manager told me. I picked Emily on my back and followed the manager. We went in, the room was like any lodge with big bed. I placed Emily on the bed. "Wait, fresh up. I will park the bike." She gave me a nod. I went down. I parked my back in the garage and shuttered it down. I came back with our spare clothes and essentials.
"So how many nights?" manager asked.
"Yes, we are leaving tomorrow morning at dawn. How much?" I did pay the bill and went upwards in my room. She was watching TV, she was asleep all day, so she will not sleep. I took a quick shower, I was tired of riding a bike, and it's no fun, okay. If you are riding it for 5 million miles.
I wanted to eat, I fell on my back. She was watching some movie that I didn't know. "You want to go out for dinner, or should we order it here only?" she switched off the TV.
"We should go." I stood up. I started walking towards the door, she followed me and took my arm into her. I locked the door and picked her on my back. We went down. It was 8 in the night. We walked on the road, it was not crowded, but I saw so many hotels near us, even MacDonald's. She was leaning on me. "MacDonald's?" I asked her.
"Hmm, I don't know. What is it?" Okay.
"What you want to eat?"
"I am tired." She said in that voice. I knew what I need to do, I picked her up on my back and started walking. People were watching at us. "I can eat anything." She said.
"Okay." I headed towards MacDonald's.
We ate there and went back, she was happy. After sleeping for all day, she fell asleep after some minutes after entering in the room.
__
It was 5.35 am in my phone. I woke up and washed my face. I shook her shoulder, she was sleeping deep. But I had to do this.
"I think we should leave." I told her. She woke up rubbing her eyes.
"What's is time?"
"It's 5.40"
"Can I not sleep more?"
"Yes, but on our bike. Now wash your face and get ready. We will try a sunrise." She quickly got up and went in the bathroom, and came back in a minute. I wrapped our belongings and put it in my bag. "So, can you walk the stairs?"
"I can try." We went on the stairs. She slowly climbed down, like a baby who is learning to walk. She succeed in the first attempt. I picked her up and sat on the managing table. I went in the garage and came back with the bike. I quickly wiped the seats and front. I went in and picked Emily up on my back. I put her on the back seat and started the engine.
"Where are we going?" She asked. It was cold, so she was holding my waist, for warming her body.
"We are going to see a lake. A big lake."
"Okay, can I sleep now?"
"Yes. Don't ask my permission to sleep, okay."
"Okay." She was asleep after some seconds. I was on highway 9 only, I wanted to go at Weiss Lake, and it was like an hour from Piedmont. So I headed towards it.
After 45 minutes of driving, I could see the bridge. I shook her head. And pointed towards the side of the bridge, it was dark but we could hear the water.
"Wow, I wish it was light." She said.
"We will see this from higher hill." I headed towards the bridge, I wanted to show her a sunrise. So, I crossed the bridge very fast, and headed in the small town. Cedar Bluff was the name shown by the google. I went straight and took a left turn from a gas station. Cherokee Country 44 was the name of the road. I quickly went on the road. I could see the hills. I found the road up, and went on it, the sun was coming up, I raced to the top of the hill. We were on the hill, but to see the sunrise, we have to walk. She quickly got out of the bike and started walking, after some time she stopped and stretched her hands. Yeah, I know, I picked her on my back, and started walking up the hill.
After some walking, I could see the river and the sunrise, slowly coming up. I placed her down and we sat on one rock. She rested her head on my shoulder.
"It's really beautiful."
"Yes."
"I can see the river and the buildings. This is a good place to live." Oh, god, why she is talking like this.
"Yes, it's good. There are more than this." I just kept looking towards the sun slowly rising up the sky. Just mind blowing.
__
We were 150 miles away from Nashville. Nashville was important, I wanted to cover that distance in a day only. So we stopped at Gaylesville ate some breakfast and went on. It was showing highway 68 on maps. I went straight.
"How much time we will drive now?" She asked.
"Hmm, you want to see the river, or just the roads?" there were two navigations on the maps, one was with river and other was just a road.
"River, river." She was excited.
"We will be there in 30 minutes."
"Ok. So, you liked any other girl than me?" was she joking? Hell no.
"Yes." I was playing. I couldn't see her face.
"Who was she?" she was angry, her voice was so bitter.
"She was someone,
Who took my heart
And never gave it back." I did some poetry. She hit on my helmet, not too hard, she knew we will fall if she did it.
"Was she beautiful?"
"Ah, she is beautiful,
More than the river flowing in the mountains
More than mountains hiding in the snow and trees
More than trees who purify the rays of the sun
More than the sun who shines that river."
"How was her hairs?"
"Ah, golden and shiny
The eyes, where I can get lost in those
The face where I can see for million minutes
The lips were cold in summer and warm in winter."
"Was she beautiful than actresses?"
"She is most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life."
"More than me?" she asked. Oh, Emily. How naïve! I couldn't stand on this argument.
"Um, yes, more than you." She hit me on the helmet. "Ow, you are beautiful but not that much."
"Say something about me also."
"What?" I played innocent.
"The words you used to describe that girl."
"Oh, okay.
The hairs, golden and shiny
Like the sun god blessed you.
The eyes, ah, how beautiful,
Like the ocean is in there.
The face, where I can see for lifetime
Like a beautiful creation of god.
The lips, nah I don't know about them." She hit me again.
"But that was good. How can you do it?"
"Do what?"
"This words, it's so charming."
"I know. Try to understand the thing which you want to describe it in the poem."
"What's a poem?"
"It's what is called, the charming words is called poem."
"Okay, you continue."
"So, you understand it with your heart and then feel that thing near you, near your heart. Look at it through the eyes of nature, what special thing of it coincides with natural wonders. And then it will come out automatically."
"Oh! I will try it."
"Okay." I smiled. I didn't want to ask her about the person. I just waited. "When are you going to say?"
"I said I will try, I didn't say I will do it now."
"Ok." I held my hands.
"Put it on there. You will take us both out of the road." I laughed. It was a good afternoon.
__
"Hey, you sleep too much." She woke up. We were on Guntersville Lake, or river, I don't know. The small fields with one home on each, it was a good scene. It was 11 in the morning and Emily was still snoring. I shook her shoulder and here she was awake at last. She looked surrounding and smiled. It was beautiful. We have to cross the river. I started the engine and went straight.
"It's beautiful." I don't know how many times I was going to hear that comment of beautifulness. I just gave her a nod. "I want to eat something." She said. There was a grocery store near the end of the bridge, I went in and bought some chips.
"Is it okay, or should I buy something else?" I asked her. She took the packet and started eating.
"Well, it's good." I sighed. I climbed on my bike and started the engine. And headed straight.
After some time I crossed Alabama and went on the highway 24. After one and half hour we were at Monteagle. (I love this place, because of the name. those who got this one, I am proud of you.) It's a good town, I mean it's big town. I stopped for lunch, I went inside the town. I parked bike in front of the hotel.
How much does she sleep? Ugh, I don't know. I shook her shoulder. And tried to wake her up. She woke up, it was 2 pm. Heat was okay. I quickly took her helmet out and placed her on the mirror. I took the wrapper of the chips, some were left, and threw it in the dust bean. I set her hairs perfectly. And supported her to walk.
"I am good, I will walk." I left her shoulder and only held her hand. We walked in. The hotel was not that crowded but 10 or something people were there. I chose the table and placed her down. I sat on the front chair.
"What would you like to eat?" waiter asked. I read the menu card. I gave her the menu card. She read it. I gave her a sign to order. And we ate there.
__
The food was good, and my stomach was full now. I knew she would sleep now. And she did. And there was nothing to watch till Nashville. Well, the road had Trussell Creek and some natural areas, but not much fun. I just rode all the way to Nashville, nonstop. Manchester was crowded, that was short, because I went through the bypass road. From Beechegrove Nashville was just 50 minutes or something. Murfreesboro was so big, I mean I could see million houses placed in the right angle, city planning was good.
Well, we were in Nashville at 4 pm. This was a really big town. I mean really big. Emily woke as we entered in the town. It was so crowded, and we just went ahead. She was not acting crazy, just calm.
I wanted to go to Hoosier National Forest, so two options were there, Owensboro and Louisville. Owensboro was two hours from Nashville and Louisville was half hour more than that. I chose quickly, we will be at Louisville at 7 am or some more, and we could eat and spend the night there. I didn't want to live in the jungle on the 2nd day only.
So I headed towards highway 65.
"You don't want to stop?" Emily asked. Ok.
"You want to stop, we will spend the night in Nashville." I turned towards the nearest lodge.
"Isn't anything special to watch here?" I was happy.
"There is so much to watch, we will quickly get our stuff in the room and go to watch the famous park. Um, yes, Percy Warner or something." It was really famous. I quickly parked my bike in the garage and threw my stuff in the room. Because the park would close after 8 and there is nothing to watch in the dark. She was waiting outside the lodge. I went near her. "Ok, let go." I took her hand and went near the road, for taxi.
"Why don't we go there on your bike?"
"I don't want to ride anymore."
"Okay." The taxi stopped and we headed towards the park. It was 4.45, we could see the sunset. The taxi stopped in front of the nature centre, I quickly paid her and went out, Emily was walking well, but after some time I picked her on my back. The photos were true, everything was beautiful.
We walked, I mean I walked, on the middle road, everything was good. The woods were reddening in colour. I rested her on one of the rocks, and I took my camera out of the bag. I took some photos of her. I mean so many of them.
"I want to take one too." She said. I quickly gave her demo of how to do it. I posed for her, some sexy girls' poses and some descent poses. She was laughing. I knew my photos never come out good, but they were good at this time. I insisted her to take some more, I posed with the rocks and trees.
I took the camera back. She was yawning, I took the picture, and she was not visible in the photo. Just a black figure on the red surface. Ah, beautiful.
We spent night in Nashville. We were good, today also she slept apart from me. I didn't say anything, because I knew she would come close to me.
__
"How will you describe your mother?" she asked out of nowhere. We were headed towards Louisville. It was 7 in the morning.
"I think I told about my mom."
"No, in that, poem, yes poem thing."
"Okay." Now this was hard. But I knew about some things.
"She was beautiful? Nah, angel,
Sent by the god and brought back by him.
Those hollow eyes could soak any pain,
But I cannot see in them.
Her lap, where I can lay for eternity,
But I cannot climb that much.
Her food, I can take one more birth to eat,
But I cannot die for it.
The hand on my head,
I will fight god for that,
And I will take her back to me." My eyes were teary. I couldn't look back, but I could feel her hand around my waist, her chin on my shoulder blades and then her cheeks on my back. She just gave me a hug.
"I am sorry." She said in a low voice.
"It's okay, I mean I feel relaxed." She didn't say anything. She was remembering her mother. She was remembering herself, I could feel her pain. That is what love is, boys and gals, if you can feel the emotion by just touching anyone that is love. I felt love, not first time, it was millionth time. But I could understand love. Love is not what you think, love is not defined by anyone, love is more than you think, love cannot decrease, and if it is decreasing, it is no love. Love is what you don't expect, but people want everything their way. Love is what you never thought, but people always plan for their relation. Nah, that's not love, that's business. I want to give you advice, you cannot feel love by imposing yourself on them but by trying to compromise and sacrifice everything. Sacrifice is the main part, I think you got it.
__
We were in Louisville in just 3 hours, I mean there was no traffic or anything. I had a friend there. I parked my bike near the entry of the town. Emily was sleeping. I dialled a number and in one ring he answered.
"Hello, John speaking."
"You mean Clifford?" he asked nervously.
"Yes."
"Where are you bastard?"
"Hey, calm down. I had some work."
"Your fucking work, I don't give a shit about it. Why the hell are you here?" he was shouting like a hell.
"I need help."
"Oh, yes, yes. You need help so you came here. You rascal."
"No, I came here to see you and also I need some help, man. There is no one in this town who can help me."
"I know, I know. Where are you right now? At airport?"
"No, southern entry."
"Okay, come to my house."
"Um, where?"
"You are such an asshole. I am sharing you a location." I got the location and started my bike, headed towards where my phone led me.
The house was normal, I mean like a common people, not fancy like Emily's. I stopped my bike in front of his house, he was living on the road named Grand Ave by google. I called him again, this time he didn't answered, and he opened the door. I barely recognised him, because of my memory. He was my batch mate at my previous training. David told me.
He came out and his eyes widened. He saw Emily.
"Who is she? You married? Why didn't you invite me?" I laughed.
"Can we come in?" I asked. He held the bike, I shook Emily's head and woke her up. She woke up with a beautiful yawn.
"Your wife is really beautiful." He exclaimed.
"I am not his wife." Emily roared at him. She turned towards me. "Who is this man?"
"Well, hello there. I am John's friend. We are besties." I gave her a nod. I climbed out of the motorcycle and gave her a hand, she refused and did it by herself. She was angry, but that's okay. We went in.
"You hungry?" Jason asked Emily. She seemed happy, that he asked the question.
"Yes. Do you have something?" She changed into curious little girl. Jason got confused.
"Yes, I made some breakfast, but I am vegetarian, is it okay?" I gave him a nod.
"Can I eat here?" She asked my permission.
"Yes. Go ahead." I sat down on the sofa. Jason was so confused about all this. I held his hand and dragged him down on the sofa. "Okay, I am sorry to disturb you."
"Nah, it's my duty. Just tell me about her."
"Okay, she is forgetting people, she was my girlfriend. I loved her. But she started forgetting me." I told him about the nature healing. He sighed and leaned back.
"You have changed a lot." He didn't know my memory loss incident. But that's fine.
"Yeah, I think. Love can change anyone."
"You are right." He sighed. "So, what brings you here?" he asked cheerfully.
"I want to go to the Hoosier. I mean it's good for her."
"Okay. So what's the problem?"
"I want to park my bike here, and will stay in the woods."
"You just want to park the fucking bike, is that your real problem?"
"Yeah, kind of."
"You are such a jerk. You can stay here if you want."
"That's what I don't want. I want to stay in the woods. Is there any incident of killing by wild animals?"
"No, not in decades. I don't think there are wild animals in there. But I am not the person to ask that question. I know someone."
"Okay. When can I meet him?"
"Now." He called the person on the phone. After some seconds he came back and sat on the sofa. "She is coming, in a minute."
"I don't have an emergency."
"Oh, she had no work today. She will come here and enjoy some talking you know, she also of same profession."
"You mean like us?"
"Yes."
"Okay. What's her name?" Some sound came from the kitchen I quickly ran in to it. Emily saw me.
"I am sorry, it fell of my hand."
"Oh, that's okay." Jason answered. I went near her, searching for the glass in her skin.
"Are you hurt?" I asked her, I kept searching for small piece of glass and I found one, on her elbow. I quickly took it out.
"Ow."
"I am sorry. Other than this?" I kept searching the glass pieces, none found. I quickly washed the small drop of blood that was coming out of her elbow. I wiped it with my hanky. And it was gone, it was smaller than a needle tip. I sighed. "You should be careful." I said.
"I am sorry." I patted on her back.
"It's fine. You ate something?"
"Yeah, the food is very good. You should try it." She took a spoonful of dish, which was peas and some ladyfingers and mixed with bread crumbs, I don't know about them. But it tastes really good. "How is it?"
"It's really good Jason. You made it?" I asked Jason. He was confused. He pointed towards her. I turned towards Emily. "I am sorry, you made it?"
"Yes." I gave her a quick hug.
"You are really good. I want more." She served me in one dish and gave it to me. I ate it like a gorilla. I loved it. After taking third time, my stomach was full. The first and foremost rule of army, eat food as if you will not get it afterwards. Ha, that was the thinking I heard from my commander when I didn't ate like that. he taught me how to eat. I was full, I gave a good burp. Everybody laughed. After some time, Jason joined me at eating. She kept serving us. When the food was gone in our stomach, she started cooking again. We started eating again. After it like an eternity we stopped. I looked towards my watch, it was just 3 minutes. We ate 6 plates, I mean I ate 6 and Jason ate 4.
"That was the best meal I have ever had, after coming here." Jason shouted. "Thank you. I will not eat lunch or not even dinner."
"You are welcome." She said. The front door was banged by someone.
"I think she is here." Jason stood up and went outside. Emily gave me a confusing look. I gave her a sign to not worry. she was tired of cooking, I supported her hand and sat her down on sofa. After some seconds, Jason came.
"Well, this is-"
"Olivia, what are you doing here?" I exclaimed. What she was doing here? She was shot when I rescued her last time. I thought she would not do any mission in this year.
"John, why are you here? And why are you wearing this outfit?" yeah, I was wearing a biker's outfit, a pro biker. She sat down. She looked towards Emily and understood quickly. "Hi Emily, how are you?" She offered her a handshake. Emily looked towards me nervous and confused. I gave her a smile and a nod.
"I am good. You?"
"I am Olivia, John's batch mate." Oh, this was going to become chaos.
"Hey, John is my batch mate." Jason sat down. Ah, this was going to be difficult.
"Wait, okay. Olivia tell him about that, my thing. You know. Not now, afterwards. But now we need help." I told her about the healing process, Emily was also listening but she got bored after 2nd sentence. She took my phone and started playing candy crush. We completely ignored her manners and I kept talking. Olivia understood.
"Of course I am going to help you. You saved my life once." She said.
"When?" Jason asked.
"Argh, I don't want to talk about the past, I just want to talk about the present. So please. If you want the information, you can ask her later." I told them both.
"Okay, calm down man. We will help you what things do you want?"
"Okay, first I want to shop a motorcycle, a regular one, like Harley Davidson or Norton or something else."
"You want regular Harley?" his eyes widened.
"Okay, I want to share a secret."
"What?" Both asked me in unison.
"I am a millionaire. And this right here is billionaire or trillionaire, I don't know."
"What the…" Both exclaimed in unison.
"Yes. So I need the bike to go there. And some wildlife help. Is there any wild animal, like human eaters or something?"
"No, not in Hoosier. It's not even jungle, I mean there is no dense forest in it. You can spend nights there."
"Okay, any tip you want to give?" I asked her nervously.
"No, you are better than me, at surviving." We both looked at her, my eyeball would pop out at any time.
"Okay then, we will shop for the motorcycle." I told them, before my eyes pop out. We stood up. Emily was still playing the game, I turned towards her. "Emily you want to come to see the motorcycles?" She looked up from the phone.
"Okay. Can I get one?" she asked curiously.
"Yes." I said happily. She stood up. I turned towards Jason. "You have a car or something?" he gave me a nod. I was suspicious on the relation between Olivia and Jason. Even Emily was in suspicion.
"You two are girlfriend boyfriend?" she asked at last. They looked each other. Jason started to say something, but Olivia shut him up.
"Yes we are dating each other." Olivia answered.
"Is it important to date before falling in love, or just be together?" Emily asked. Why she was going towards the wisdom side. Olivia was confused.
"No Emily. It's not important, most important thing is love, if you have it for anyone, no need to show it, but if you have some doubts about it you can try dating. Dating is not the first step of love. Dating is just an instrument, you can use it to identify the love or you cannot, if someone already shown you." I sighed. I thought this was enough. Olivia was staring at me.
"Okay." Emily said casually. I knew she didn't understand a word, but the other two understood it very well. They gave me an it's okay nod. We went out in a car.
__
"So is there any motorcycle shop here?" I asked Jason, we were waiting for a signal.
"We have a full on Harley Davidson showroom. Everything." He roared.
"Why are you shouting?" Emily shouted back.
"I am sorry." He said nervously.
"I have a reinforcement." I told him. We laughed.
We were there in 10 minutes. I was shocked by bike variations and range, it was too good. You would think, why I was not using my old bike? Because it's the long travel bike, and honestly I am tired of riding it, yeah, it's a rich thing.
I picked Emily up on my back and went in.
"I love this one." Emily showed me a roadster. Yeah, it was good.
"Yeah, we will try, but can you sit on that seat?" yeah it was too difficult.
"So, this one?" she showed me sportster. Come on, Emily. I put her down and climbed on the motorcycle.
"Now try to sit on the seat." She sat on the seat, I knew she was feeling uncomfortable. "It's okay, we have million options." She climbed out. I also got out. I picked her up on my back. I went towards the manager.
"You have something else than Harley?" I asked him.
"Yes we have."
"What?" I was not patient.
"We have triumph, Norton, RE."
"Okay show me." I followed him, Jason and Olivia didn't say a word after entering the shop. I couldn't blame them, they didn't know anything, or they don't care.
Well, Norton was good, we couldn't be comfortable on those. RE, yes they make good motorcycles, but Emily didn't love the styles. Yeah they make it simple but good. At last the triumph. Emily's eyes were shining, she was not saying a word. After some time she pointed towards classics, I did the process of comfort. She pointed towards the roadsters, those were just two bikes. They were good. Now she was confused between roadster and Bonneville T120 and street twin. She was not on my back, she was thinking hard. I just looked towards her. She was looking beautiful. She looked at me.
"What should I do?" she asked.
"Which one is better?" I asked. She looked towards three motorcycles, and pointed out two of them. Yeah, both classics, now roadster was out. "Okay, which is more comfortable to sit?" she pointed towards Bonneville T120. I turned towards the manager. "Well, fill the tank." I ordered. He quickly shouted towards his other colleagues.
"Please wait in the lobby sir, just 5 minutes, we will do polishing and other works."
"Okay, where to pay?"
"Yes sir, follow Me." we went in the lobby and sat there, Emily was walking with me, and I supported her with the hand. I rested her on one sofa. I gave a nod to the two others and went towards the paying table.
After everything was done, Emily was really happy. Our motorcycle was out in the sun. It was shining. She turned towards me. "Can I get a ride?" she asked, completely excited. I gave her a nod. I turned towards Jason.
"I think you should go, you don't have any office or something?" I asked him.
"You don't know, it's Sunday. You are so lost." Oh, I thought. Okay then.
"Okay, so share me the location for the lunch, I will give her a ride."
"In the middle of the day?"
"Yeah, you people go. We have some work." Olivia said quickly. She dragged Jason towards the car and quickly flew away. I was smiling.
"Let's go then." Emily shouted. I climbed on the motorcycle and started the engine, ah, the sound and the power, it's too good. We just rode in the town.

When you love somebody you don't say:
Who are you? You are not the one I fell in love with. No, but it's TRUE, if you really love somebody, and if they change overtime, it's not even a fault. The human being always change according to circumstances, those who don't, they vanish in the past. Nah, never do that, because it's the trust or I will say more than just a trust, it's an invisible bond, and it's get stronger when you make sacrifices for someone. Your partner will understand if you do it. The love, I am not saying just love because it's so rare and pure element, is not a visible thing, it doesn't mean anything. It's just love, and it can be felt by your loved one, who you are loving the most. Keep this in mind, love is invisible. The others cannot see it, but your partner. Always remember this. What people say is not fucking important, when you love somebody, there is no one method of doing it. Do it your way. Do what your heart says.

"Where are you?" Jason asked. I parked the motorcycle and picked up the phone, it was 40 minutes we were just wandering on the roads, Emily was loving it. But I was tired, because she was sleeping the whole time and I was driving.
"On our way. Why?"
"Just asked. Come to the restaurant, I shared you my location."
"Okay." I hung up.
"What happened?" Emily asked. I started the engine and started driving towards the location.
"I am hungry."
"I think you ate 6 plates of my dish two hours ago." She said it in that way, the old sarcastic way of Emily. I relieved. She was becoming, she was gaining her way. I sighed.
"It was really good, but when you ride, the stomach becomes empty, it gets your energy so much." She was thinking something.
"Don't make me ride it, okay. I don't want my tummy to be empty." I laughed.
"I will never." I promised. I stopped in front of the restaurant. It was big, Jason was standing near the entrance. I waved him. I parked the bike and gave hand to Emily to get down. I also got down. "I don't have energy to pick you up. And you are gaining weight." She hit me. She just held my and we walked slowly. I didn't know what has happened to her legs, probably she forgot how to walk, or her mind want to give me pain so that I can learn my lesson. Yeah, second was definitely true.
"So, how was the ride?" Olivia asked Emily. We were eating. Only Olivia was eating non veg, others were veg.
"It's comfortable." She turned towards me. "Why we need the new motorcycle, if we have already?" she asked. Jason giggled. Women are the true economists of the world.
"Well, I thought we should give it a change."
"And buy an expensive one?"
"Okay, okay. I surrender." I held my hands up. We all laughed.
"So, we are going to stay here, or what?" she asked after some time.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you, we are going for camping. In the forest." She was thinking something. We all were waiting for her reaction.
"How?" Oh, god. Thanks.
"Okay, we have tents and some food, we can roast it."
"Oh. We all are going or what?" She asked to us all.
"I don't know about these people." I turned towards them. "Why don't you come along with us." They were thinking about it. "Is everything all right?" I asked, I felt some discomfort between the two. They both sighed.
"Yes, everything is fine. We just don't want to bother you guys."
"What? We have no problem." Emily said quickly, she turned towards me.
"Yes, we really don't." I sighed. I knew what they were talking about.
"I would love to have with us." Emily said in baby voice, which no one can deny. No one, not even god.
"Okay then. We are coming." Emily cheered. She was happy. They both sighed.
"I think you have a music shop in the town." I said enthusiastically.
"No way, you are not singing." Olivia said quickly. "Last time he sang, he ruined all the fun. I mean no offence but, you really ruined all the fun."
"Oh, you can sing!" Emily asked. I gave her a nod. "You do poetry, you do singing, and you do riding. What you do for living?" We all laughed but Emily. She was confused. Olivia started to say something but I gave her a sign not to tell her.
"I am musician." I said.
"No, I don't think so." Emily said in suspicion. Olivia was smiling.
"Why?"
"You don't have anything in your backpack, like any guitar or not even that stick where you blow and the sound comes." I laughed.
"It's called flute. Well, I thought I don't need my any instrument on the ride, but I was wrong. That's why we are going to buy a ukulele when we head towards the forest."
"Oh, okay." She seemed relaxed. We ate in silence. "So how you will come there?" she asked Jason and Olivia. They thought for some time. I also thought, how will they come, the road was narrow.
"I have a motorcycle." Olivia told us. "I have a RE."
"Oh, that's good." Jason said. He had no idea about motorcycles, he didn't know anything but Harley. "I will not ride."
"You don't know how to ride." Olivia concluded. He felt ashamed. He looked downwards.
"That's okay, it's not important. So we both will leave at 0430 hours."
"What's that?" Emily asked.
"I mean we will leave at 4.30 pm from Jason's house, Olivia will come there with her motorcycle."
"Yes." Olivia and Jason agreed.
"How long is it from here?" Emily asked.
"I think 2-3 hours or something. We will stop whenever Emily wants. Is that good?" I asked everyone.
"Yes." Everyone agreed.
__
"Well, let's go." Emily was very excited to live in the woods. I was also excited. Olivia was with RE. We headed towards the Hoosier. It was just 1 hour road, but the time limit was not mentioned. We packed our tents and the ukulele, Emily was holding it like a guitar, and other essentials.
"Are we stopping in Leavenworth, it's a good place?" Olivia asked. Yeah, Leavenworth was on our way, and it was really good place. I always wanted a house in there, not that I could afford but with my family, with my Emily.
"That's a good idea, but we will stop there in the morning, because if we will be there now, there is nothing to watch." I informed her.
"Yeah, he is right." Jason agreed.
"What is heavenworth?" Emily asked. We started heading towards the Hoosier.
"It's Leavenworth, and it's a good place with rivers and hills and everything beautiful."
"Like your old girlfriend?" she asked, why? Fuck man! The others couldn't hear us, we both were riding with each other but they were talking in themselves. I was shocked by that comment.
"Why are you asking me these things?" I asked her, I was shouting because the wind and engine sound was so loud, I mean powerful.
"Just."
"Okay." I rode in silence.
We were on our destination at 6. There were people living in the forest, we saw some houses too. But we wanted a good camp, we saw a church and many other things, they actually lived there. I led them on road called SW CORD 500, yeah googly. I led them till the end. I parked my motorcycle at the end of the road. In front of us was a river, or lake.
"We are on a small island." Emily exclaimed.
"Yeah, anyone want to go for fishing?" Olivia asked us all. It was dark, I mean really dark. There was no way of going for fishing. I searched on my phone about insects and mosquitos. Yeah, fucking ticks. I have to warn these guys.
"Okay, it's really dark, no fishing now. And most important thing, this forest has so many ticks." I told them all.
"What is ticks?" Emily asked. Even Jason doesn't knew the meaning.
"It's a insect which soaks the blood from our body." Emily got scared.
"What should we do then, we go back?" she asked completely alert and frightened. I laughed.
"No. I have some mosquito repellents and we will try the traditional way."
"What?"
"I will tell you all. First some instructions, don't drink the water directly from the river."
"I think I heard this somewhere." Emily said. Yeah, we were on the small adventure behind the palace. She is remembering some little things.
"Probably on discovery channel."
"So how do we drink it?" she asked. I sighed.
"The great survival specialist and wild man once told the world, drink water after boiling it." I announced.
"Who?" the whole crowd asked.
"The one and only…."
"Who?" they were impatient.
"Bear Grills!" I shouted, not too much, but a little.
"Oh come on." Jason and Olivia said in unison. But Emily didn't know who he was, she seemed inspired by the name.
"Okay, first of all, we need fire. Before that everybody cover the uncovered body part with this." I gave them my mosquito repellent cream. "Even necks and cheeks. Don't apply it in eyes." I helped Emily to apply it on the hands and neck, she applied herself on the cheeks. "Now, we need some wood, dry wood."
"I will get it." Emily told us all.
"Okay so we will get the wood, and you people collect some water, don't go in the water, it's dark and what's in it, we never know." They gave me a nod. I turned towards Emily. "Can you walk?"
"I will try." Yeah, after some minutes I have to pick her up.
"Okay." I offered her a hand and we walked towards the trees. I stopped. "Wait here, I forgot my knife." I turned and came back with a knife. Her eyes widened.
"Is it a sword?" she asked. I laughed. It was very big knife, it was a scabbard and it was pretty big.
"I have a small one also." I took out my scabbard. I gave it to her, it was 6 inches. She opened it. We couldn't see the colour. I focused my torch on the knife.
"Wow, it's like space." Yeah, it was galaxy style. It was purple and a good tiny effective stylish knife. "Can I keep it?"
"Yes, but it's too sharp." She put it in the scabbard. She searched a place to keep it.
"Where should I keep this?"
"Give me, I will give you later."
"Okay." I kept it back in my pocket. We arranged some wood. Yeah, after some seconds she was on my back. She was just holding the torch. I was done collecting the wood. I kept it down. "What happened? You seem tired."
"No I am not." But I was. "Find the flower whose colour is purple. A small flowers." We started finding the flowers.
"Okay." We found some of them, I took them and she was holding them, I prohibited her to sniff them. And found some rosemary also, this forest is good. I picked up the wood and also the Emily Norton and went near our camp. Jason and Olivia were chatting together.
The camp was good I mean nature was with us, there were two trees fell down, we were sitting on them, I wanted to start fire between the two, and it was a good plan. I rested Emily on one tree. I took out my jacket. I was feeling horribly hot.
"It's dead cold in here." Olivia informed me. But she kept quiet after seeing me in sweat. I quickly arranged the wood into triangular form, and started the fire with the help of magnesium flint stone, it's really good.
"Here, rub these plants all over your body, I mean uncovered area, it's a natural insect repellent and we found rosemary." They did as I instructed them.
"What does it do? The rosemary." Emily asked.
"We can eat it, like in the soup or oil, with the dinner."
"Okay."
