Chapter 558 - Chapter 558 - Sawi's Inventions

When Leyvi entered Sawi's workshop, she immediately noticed him. Her eyes lit up with excitement as she quickly came over, grabbed his hand, and pulled him along into one of the inner rooms. Leyvi wondered what she had created this time. Perhaps an upgraded version of his holy rod artifact?

Sawi's ancestor had once been the legendary blacksmith of the Cloud Continent, Vulcan Orebender, who had crafted many powerful tier-5 spirit weapons. The tier-5 metal bat currently in Leyvi's possession was one of his creations. Sawi had inherited a special family heirloom that could detect her ancestor's works, which was how she had first met Leyvi.

One thing led to another. Sawi eventually inherited her ancestor's full legacy and married into the Leyan Family. Now she lived a fulfilling life with access to virtually unlimited resources, allowing her to create anything her heart desired.

Unlike most of the other ladies, Sawi did not have a strong longing or urge to have children. If it happened naturally, she would embrace it happily. But if it never happened, she would not feel bad about it either.

What truly excited her was creating new inventions. Over the years, she had absorbed and studied the vast legacies her ancestor had left behind in her Sea of Consciousness. However, learning theories alone was not enough. She needed to put them into practice to gain real experience and mastery.

Thankfully, she had married into a very wealthy family that fully supported her passion. Various rare materials that she could only dream of obtaining in the past could now be acquired with ease. Sawi still sometimes could not believe how fortunate her life had turned out.

What amazed her even more was learning that her husband had the ability to grant certain special talents to others. As his wife, she had received one too.

The talent Leyvi gave her was related to morphing. It allowed her to easily reshape all sorts of materials into any form she desired. This ability was incredibly convenient in her line of work, saving her an enormous amount of time that would otherwise be spent manually shaping and molding materials.

"What do you want to show me, Sawi?" Leyvi asked as he followed her into the room. He noticed that the space was filled with Lapin's celestial clouds floating around for some reason.

"Look at this!" Sawi said proudly, her eyes shining with excitement. She handed him a modified array communication device. "I have upgraded our array communication device. We can now send messages across the world almost instantly. We no longer need array signal towers anymore. We can contact anyone from anywhere! Well... possibly."

"Really? That's amazing!" Leyvi exclaimed, genuinely impressed as he examined the device in his hands.

He knew very well how limited the signal range of normal array communication devices was. Inside a city, they worked quite smoothly thanks to the many array signal towers installed everywhere to boost the signal and reduce interference.

But outside the cities, array communication devices barely functioned at all. Cultivator cities were too far apart from one another. Building enough array signal towers along the routes would be extremely expensive and difficult to maintain, as the towers could easily be destroyed by the many demonic beasts roaming the wild lands.

There were some rare objects that allowed long-range communication, but they were incredibly expensive and difficult to obtain, so they were usually reserved only for emergencies.

Of course, they could also use Senior Lapin's celestial clouds to communicate with each other, but that method was too obvious and could not be used in public without drawing unwanted attention.

The array communication device, on the other hand, also allowed them to send written messages, which was often much more preferable and discreet than speaking directly.

If Sawi had truly managed to upgrade the devices to this level, it would be nothing short of revolutionary. It could completely change how the world operates from now on.

"But what do you mean by 'possibly'?" Leyvi asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Well… we need to have someone on the other side of the world with one of these devices to test it properly first," Sawi replied.

"Hahaha. That's true," Leyvi laughed.

"Don't worry. I'm sure it will work just fine. I just can't prove it right away," Sawi said confidently. "But I already tested it over a decent distance. When Sister Vivian, Jojori, and Mawarini visited two months ago, I gave each of them a modified array communication device. After they returned to Mountain Dew Sect, we exchanged messages to test it… and the result was a big success!"

"This is great," Leyvi said with genuine admiration. "If you mass-produce this invention, you'd become famous worldwide. Sawi, the Voluptuous Inventress. Your name would be all over the news."

"Why Voluptuous Inventress?" Sawi pouted cutely. "Why not Intelligent Inventress or Revolutionary Inventress?"

"Because of this, of course," Leyvi replied playfully. He reached his hand behind her back, grabbed the loose fabric of her shirt, and pulled it backward.

Sawi's baggy shirt, which always hid her figure, immediately tightened around her body, revealing an impressively curvy and voluptuous silhouette.

"There. The Voluptuous Inventress has appeared," Leyvi said with a mischievous smile.

"Ah, look at that. I think I've gained some weight," Sawi noticed, gently touching the small layer of soft fat on her stomach. "Did I eat too much lately?"

"Anyway, unfortunately, I won't be famous anytime soon," Sawi continued. "Big Madam said this array communication device shouldn't be made public yet. We should only give them to the people we trust."

"Eh? Why?" Leyvi asked. His hand still hadn't let go of her shirt. He adjusted his grip in different directions, playfully observing how her curves shifted from various angles.

"As you can see in this room, I integrated Senior Lapin's celestial cloud bloodline power into the array communication device," Sawi explained.

"That's the reason it can cover such long distances. Big Madam said that if we commercialize this right now, people will definitely try to reverse-engineer the device and figure out the bloodline power function. Eventually, this could expose Senior Lapin's existence and potentially attract the attention of some dangerous powerhouses. So it has to stay a secret for now."

Leyvi finally let go of Sawi's baggy shirt. "Hmm. That's actually true. We should listen to Anda. Only friends and family should use this for the time being."

He still remembered the shady Dao Manifestation Realm group from back then. They definitely had some hidden agenda. They would love nothing more than to have a communication device that allowed them to contact each other instantly from anywhere. If Senior Lapin ever got targeted by that group, it would become extremely troublesome.

"It's too bad that you can't become famous right now," Leyvi said, giving her an encouraging smile. "But don't worry, Sawi. One day you will definitely become the most voluptuous inventress the world has ever seen!"

Sawi chuckled softly. "I don't really care about being famous. I just want to keep making more things. Come, let me show you something else."

Sawi pulled Leyvi along again into another room.

She proudly showed him the new version of the holy rod artifact that all the ladies had recently swapped to.

Leyvi could only roll his eyes. He had already expected this to appear.

After that, Sawi handed Leyvi a brand-new pair of battle gloves. It was the very first tier-4 weapon she had ever created in her life.

She had only advanced to the Core Formation Realm two years ago. Considering her current cultivation level, she should not have been able to handle tier-4 materials yet. At most, she should have been limited to tier-3.

This was where her Morph talent proved incredibly useful. With some effort, she could manipulate tier-4 materials according to her will, allowing her to successfully create the battle gloves.

These gloves were then integrated with array films that Sawi had designed based on Leyvi's previous tier-3 battle gloves, Crazy Tempest and Scary Void. She had even upgraded the array films, giving Leyvi the ability to adjust the power output as he desired.

In other words, the new battle gloves were a superior tier-4 version of Crazy Tempest and Scary Void combined.

"Hahaha! Thanks, Sawi! I really like these," Leyvi said happily as he examined the gloves. "You can even make tier-4 spirit weapons now. My wife is a genius!"

"Heheh. I'm not really a genius," Sawi replied, clearly enjoying the praise.

"I knew it. Punching feels much better with gloves on," Leyvi said as he launched several quick jabs into the air.

During the Mystic Realm expedition, he had not been able to use his Crazy Tempest and Scary Void much because his power had already exceeded what tier-3 materials could endure.

But now, with these new tier-4 gloves, that would no longer be a problem.

After that, Sawi showed Leyvi even more of her recent inventions, including children's toys and various miscellaneous items. The demonstration went on until late into the night, so Leyvi ended up spending the night in her workshop, including engaging in intimate activities with her.

The next morning, after having coffee together, Tal came to find Leyvi to discuss something important.
