Two days have passed since the protective barrier fell.
Surprisingly, nothing happened. No armies. No gods. No holy crusades.
Just... silence.
It was unnerving.
"They're scared," Vicky stated, leaning against the parapet of the wall, her crimson gaze fixed on the silent horizon. "Your little show of power worked better than we thought. They're gathering their wits, trying to figure out what you are."
"Or they're just busy," I countered, a small smile playing on my lips. "Busy with riots, and panic, and... other things."
"Hehehe... you mean the orgies?" Vicky asked, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
"Hehehe... maybe," I said with a shrug. "I can sense that my minor Lust aspect is getting a little... stronger. I wonder why."
"Hehehe... serve them right," Vicky chuckled, then her expression turned serious. "But this silence won't last. They are planning something. We need to be ready."
"I know," I said, my gaze drifting towards the village at the northern border. "How is the new village doing?"
"It's finished," Vicky said, a proud smirk on her lips. "I named it 'New Moon'. It's a fitting name, don't you think? For a new beginning."
"I like it," I said, nodding in approval. "How many people are there?"
"About eight hundred," Vicky replied. "Most of them are rabbit-kin, Holstaur, wolf-kin, and Fox-kin. They are the 'friendly' face of our nation. Traders, farmers, healers. And, of course, a full garrison of two hundred Harbingers of Silence to keep them safe."
"Good," I said, a thoughtful expression on my face. "Don't forget to place a barrier around the village just in case."
"Already done," Vicky said, her expression smug. "A small barrier, powered by a few of my dragon crystals. It's not as strong as the main one, but it's enough to stop a mortal army."
Dragon crystals are a product of Vicky's new dragon fire. It's basically her fire solidified into a crystal form, and it can only be found inside her home.
The Dragon's Nest.
It's a racial building I bought for her from my breeding system. On the outside, it's just a gate arch, a beautiful and highly decorative stone gate with two dragon statues carved on it.
On the inside, however, it's a massive floating island with a massive volcano at its center.
This island is Vicky's personal paradise and a training ground for her to master her new powers.
"Impressive," I said, genuinely impressed. "You've been busy."
"I have my moments," Vicky said, a small, proud smile on her lips. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a new batch of elves to... train. Don't do anything stupid while I'm gone."
"Hehehe... I'll try," I said, waving her off.
As Vicky walked away, I turned my attention back to the northern borders. The new village was a good idea. It was a way to slowly introduce our existence to the world without shocking them too much. But it was also a vulnerability. A target.
Vicky suggested that we build a wall on the entire northern border, a full 1,400-kilometer-long wall. But I momentarily rejected that idea. It's not that her idea was bad; on the contrary, it's a very good idea. A massive project like this will provide jobs and a sense of security to our people.
We even planned everything, the design, the materials, the workforce, everything was ready.
But we can't do it now.
The reason is simple.
I'm waiting.
I'm waiting for those who heard and answered my call.
I can feel them.
Hundreds of them.
Small groups, lone warriors, hordes of beasts, entire tribes. They are coming. Answering my primal call.
My children.
The descendants of Lilith's followers.
The ones who still carry the womb crest in their blood.
Some are weak, some are strong, some are just... crazy. But they are all mine.
And they are coming home.
I want to see them. I want to welcome them. I want to... judge them.
I want to see if they are worthy of being my children.
And the worthy will have a place inside my horny city.
"Nox... any news?" I mentally asked my pet raven.
He was currently flying high above the northern borders of the elven kingdom, his three eyes scanning the horizon for any signs of movement.
[Mother... I see them] Nox's voice echoed in my mind, a mix of excitement and anticipation. [There are many. A tribe of minotaurs, at least five hundred strong. A few orcs. And... a group of humans.]
"Humans?" I asked, my interest piqued.
[Yes, Mother. They are... different. I guess they were slaves, collar and all.] Nox replied. [They are led by a... a woman. A woman with cat ears and orange fur.]
"..."
A cat-kin?
I wonder how they ended up all the way up there. The northern lands of the elves are not a friendly place for non-elves, especially humans.
"Follow them," I commanded. "Don't let them out of your sight. I want to know everything about them, and I'll send some elves to guide them to Athel Loren."
[As you wish, Mother], Nox said, then cut the connection.
I smiled, a wicked grin spreading across my face. The world was moving, and I was at the center of it all.
It was a good feeling.
"Now, since I have some free time, I should check on my other new pet," I chuckled, my mind drifting to another matter.
Another pet project of mine.
The Red Wyvern.
I gave her a Nest similar to Vicky's and left her to rest, recover, and grow a sense of belonging.
You know, the carrot-and-stick approach.
Vicky beat the shit out of her, and I gave her a home.
There is also a similar matter that requires my 'personal' touch, a matter concerning the white stag and the forest spirit.
But I decided to leave that for later. For now, I have a Futa Wyvern to check on.
"Alright! Let's go see my little pet," I chuckled, and with a thought, I teleported to the wyvern's nest.
The nest was the same as before. A massive floating island with a large cave at its center. The only difference was that the red wyvern had a low level of intelligence, so she didn't have the ability to do something creative, but she did her best to make the cave more... comfortable. She brought a lot of soft moss and some shiny rocks and arranged them in a neat pile in the corner.
It was cute.
Step. Step.
"Hello, little one," I purred, my voice echoing in the cave.
The red wyvern, who was currently sleeping on the pile of moss, was startled by my voice. She jumped to her feet, her massive body coiled in a defensive posture, a low growl rumbling in her throat. Her red scales shimmered in the dim light of the cave, and her yellow eyes were wide with fear and defiance.
"Hehehe... still feisty, I see," I chuckled, my hands on my hips. "I like that. It will make breaking you in so much more enjoyable."
The wyvern didn't reply. She just stared at the entrance. Only when I stepped out from the shadows did she relax, wiggling her tail like a happy puppy.
"Good girl," I said, a small smile on my face. "I came to check on you, and also to give you a gift."
I reached into my inventory and pulled out a small, red crystal.
A Dragon Crystal.
Vicky gave me a few of them to play with, and I thought that my little pet would appreciate a new toy.
"Here," I said, tossing the crystal towards the wyvern. "A treat. For being a good girl."
The wyvern sniffed the crystal, her long forked tongue tasting the air. Then, she carefully picked it up with her teeth and swallowed it whole.
A few seconds later, her body began to glow, a soft, red light emanating from her scales. She let out a surprised roar, her wings flapping wildly, knocking over a pile of shiny rocks.
"Whoa! Easy there, girl," I said, taking a step back, my eyes wide with surprise.
The wyvern's body began to change. Her muscles bulged, her scales grew thicker and sharper, and a small, horn-like protrusion appeared on her forehead. She was evolving.
"Wow... I didn't expect that," I muttered, my eyes wide with amazement.
The Dragon Crystal was meant to be a power source, a battery for magical devices. I didn't know it could be used for evolution.
Well, I should have expected it; after all, they were created by a pure divine dragon.
After a few minutes, the transformation was complete. The wyvern was now bigger, stronger, and... more majestic.
However, she was still a low-blooded wyvern. She would need a lot more of those crystals to evolve into a true dragon.
The wyvern looked at her new body, then at me, and let out a happy roar, her tail wagging furiously.
"Hehehe... you're welcome," I said, a proud smirk on my lips. "Now, let's see how your lower parts evolved."
Without hesitation, I released a potent mix of my aura and my pheromones.
The wyvern's reaction was immediate. Her happy roar turned into a lustful moan, her body trembling with desire. Her yellow eyes became hazy, her pupils dilating.
She took a wobbly step towards me, her massive body swaying before she dropped to her belly, crawling the rest of the distance with a low, submissive whine.
She nudged my leg with her snout, her hot breath tickling my skin.
"That's a good girl," I purred, running my fingers over her smooth, warm scales. "Don't worry, I'll make sure to fill your womb to the brim."
