Yan Huan peeked her head in from outside and saw Ji Chuan lying on the bed in boredom. She smirked and slipped inside swiftly.
"Are you hungry? I brought you dinner." Yan Huan shook the insulated container in her hand and walked up to Ji Chuan.
"Not bad. You actually remembered to bring me food! I thought you'd leave me here without a word once you saw a crowd." Ji Chuan grinned; it was clear his mood had improved.
Yan Huan thought to herself, as expected of Ji Chuan, he's so understanding of her, he could easily guess what she was thinking.
However, seeing Ji Chuan in such a good mood, she didn't have the heart to tell the truth and decided to let him stay mistaken.
From now on, she needed to treat Ji Chuan even better.
