Scarlett's POV...
"There's one more thing you need to know about, Alpha Bryton is after Scarlett's life."
"What!!" Jamie gasped in shock and I swallowed hard.
She faced me immediately and I sighed.
"What is Axel talking about Scarlett? Why is Alpha Bryton after your life?" Jamie asked concernedly.
"She is actually mated to Alpha Bryton but she had a vision that Alpha Bryton would kill her so he could obtain her powers. So, she asked me to help and protect her. In return for the favor I was going to offer her, I asked her to be my mate and she agreed instantly, I then marked her immediately." Alpha Axel confessed and Jamie sprang up immediately.
I knew she was going to be very mad at me and Alpha Axel for keeping the truth from her all these while.
"What! So, she is going to be your mate for a temporary period and after Alpha Bryton is cleared off, she calls off the deal she striked with you and then goes back to her pack, right?" She asked with a hurtful expression.
