Yan Ye took this sentence as a compliment to himself.
He especially loved Lian Xinying's inadvertent praises.
"Do you want some water?" Yan Ye saw her still holding her stomach, wanting to ease her discomfort a bit.
Lian Xinying saw his earnest gaze; despite feeling unwell, she tried hard to pretend she had recovered a bit.
"Okay. I'll have warm water."
"Hmm, how about some warm milk?" Yan Ye always wanted to nourish her.
The goal was to feed her until she was chubby and fair like Miaomiao, but it was a goal never achieved.
"I don't want milk. You know I don't like milk." Lian Xinying could drink yogurt but found plain milk intolerable.
That fishy smell made her dizzy.
Yan Ye didn't say anything and went to get her some warm water.
Not sure if it was because she had been busy at the studio all afternoon and felt a bit tired, she curled up on the sofa and almost fell asleep.
"Feeling sleepy?" Yan Ye handed her the cup when she opened her eyes.
