Deep within Vault city, within the land of the Ghouls stood a tower...
A tower that allowed the strongest of Ghouls to watch over their prey, the Humans.
Kray appeared upon the top, familiar faces surrounding him.
"So Rugi the Kiren you we were interested in is insignificant".
"He won't be an issue for us".
"Well that's at least one problem dealt with but another has risen in your absence Kray" the Ghoul known as Rugi looked out of the glass pyramid in which they stood.
"Nucleus the second Kronen god has arrived in our city and as suspected he is trying to adapt to a Ghoul, so with that in mind I have hired the most skilled among us in hunting" Rugi welcomed a Human into their conversation.
But despite his Human weakness his aura was overwhelming to even the Ghouls it was almost as if he were gifted by a higher being.
"So you need someone else killing?" Laires, the ripper spoke, his metallic fang revealed.
"Not quite right, this individual may be of use to us especially with so many Zeons appearing on Earth, so we would like for you to attempt to have him join us but yes kill him if he refuses" Rugi opened the doors as if to force the Human out but instead another walked in.
"Yokubo, Rugi was just hiring me for another hunt care to join" Laires bowed upon Yokubo's entrance.
"So where have you been?" Kray questioned only to cower in Yokubo's presence.
"Not like I care to tell you but I was out hunting the rebellion" Yokubo rested upon a throne of his own making, a throne made of sludge.
During Yokubo's declaration of power Laires vanished to another piece of his soul, left stranded in the city's streets.
"Finally I found you, my daughter's murderer" a fur covered Human spoke softly his tone the opposite of his emotions.
"I don't even know who you are... but despite that I am guessing that you are not Nucleus" Laires lazily drew a dagger whilst awaiting a prey worth his time.
"My name is Kravage you bastard" Kravage the herculean warrior seemingly killed the ripper in one blow.
"Behind you" Laires appeared from the shadows, his palm resting upon the brute's shoulder.
"You don't understand even if I did kill your daughter which I probably did there's nothing you can do about it" the ripper leaped away in preparation for Kravage's anger.
"Nothing I can do!" Kravage dropped to his knees but not in despair no in worship.
"My family worship the almighty god Hydran Hercules and thanks to that I know I will kill you today" Kravage rose up but this time his aura shocked the ripper.
But that was it, surprise not fear.
It was as if Kravage was possessed but no that wasn't it.
Instead he was reincarnated through an unwavering belief.
And as Laires watched uncertain whether or not to care, a chain wrapped itself around his leg.
Dragging him towards the reincarnation of a god.
"Fine I'll give you it, Kravage was it?".
"You may be worth my time after all but trust me you will wish you weren't by the end of today" Laires activated a technique, the technique named five known.
"Nia, Ann, Ada, Serena oh and Bella Hukani, five women who I have killed and as a reward for telling you this I now gain their strength for the next five minutes" Laires clashed against Kravage, despite the chain still being attached to his ankle.
Shockwaves rippled through the Ghoul filled streets of Vault city.
And as those shockwaves ceased Laires once again clashed against a blade just born into the world.
"Not this time, don't just focus on my physical capabilities" Kravage created multiple blades but not to wield no, the blades rained down upon the man known as the ripper.
"Don't you know how expensive this coat of mine is?" Laires stabbed the incarnation of Hercules with ease and despite the rain of death coming close Laires remained sure of himself.
"What no you weren't this powerful a moment ago" Kravage spoke, shortness of breath becoming more apparent by the second.
"Oh please do you know how boring it gets to just be playing with Ghouls all the time" Laires ripped his dagger out from his latest victim.
"Ah I see my blade has had its fill of you, now you are boring to us both as well as useless and there's nothing worse then something that pathetic" the ripper prepared to deliver the killing blow just before Kravage was absorbed into a near perfect being.
The god of adaption, Nucleus.
