Monica immediately refused any attempt by Frieren to set up a summoning circle on top of the map table. According to her, there were already enough problems without turning Asgard's administrative center into a possible point of contact with a broken shadow entity. Frieren argued that the war room had superior barriers, acoustic isolation, quick access to documents, and a wide surface. Monica replied that the table had been made for maps, not for "conversations with spiritual remnants of a faceless guardian that may or may not be connected to a name-devouring king."
The argument lasted only two minutes.
