The violent elements within the man were entirely provoked by the woman. He looked coldly at Eden's beautiful face, twisted nearly to distortion by pain. He had warned her; it was her own doing, so she couldn't blame him.
Eden was convulsing in pain, but it seemed the man had no intention of stopping. She felt as though she was riding a wild horse out of control, being jostled to and fro, suffering unbearable torment.
After an unknown length of time, when it finally ended, Eden lay powerlessly on the man, her body covered in a layer of cold sweat from the pain. No matter how she had pleaded just now, this man simply wouldn't let her go.
She lay weakly on his chest, listening to the fierce beats of his heart. She gently drew in a cold breath, feeling an inexplicable sense of grievance inside her. As she blinked, tears suddenly burst forth.
