Blackout looked at Ironhide, Greenlight and Lancer. His cooling fans whirred with a deep, predatory thrum. "Autobots," Blackout remarked.
Ironhide stood his ground as his heavy cannons were already smoking. Beside him, Greenlight and Lancer looked at him.
"How long has it been since we fought together?" Ironhide questioned as he smiled.
"It feels like it has been too long," Greenlight replied.
"It feels like we were on Cybertron only moments ago," Lancer added.
"It is always a pleasure fighting with you ladies," Ironhide said.
Blackout didn't waste time with words. "EMP," he roared once again. He slammed his hand against the ground and launched a localised EMP blast. At that moment, the surrounding streetlights went dark. The hum of nearby power lines died, and the digital displays on the nearby buildings flickered out.
"He's trying to blind us," Ironhide growled. He braced his thick legs. "Ironhide Impact," he shouted as he slammed his fists together. A wave of kinetic energy rippled outward and countered the EMP's dampening effect on their own internal sensors.
"He was annoying for doing that," Lance said as her steam came out from her pistons.
Blackout's right arm shifted. The metal plates slid and locked with a series of heavy mechanical clicks. "Heavy Cannon Salvo," he said. The gears in his forearm rotated to reveal a dual-barrel thermal cannon. He fired a series of piercing thermal rounds. They sliced through the air with a screeching hiss and headed straight for the group.
"Aegis Bastion," Lancer said as she planted her feet. Her external plating shifted into a reinforced interlocking pattern. A shimmering amber energy field projected from her chassis and absorbed the hail of thermal rounds. The explosions blossomed against her shield.
"Veridian Hailstorm," Greenlight said as her cannons cycled rapidly. She let out a stuttering barrage of high-impact rounds. The shots traveled through the air and hit Blackout's heavy chest plating. The kinetic force made the giant stumble back.
Blackout snarled. "Is that it?" Blackout questioned as he reached for the massive rotor blades on his back. "Rotor Blade Cleave," he said as the blades detached and spun forward like a massive, lethal disc. The blades tore through a nearby bus and sliced through a concrete pillar in one motion as they sought out the Autobots.
"Aegis Quake," Lancer countered as she leapt into the air. She brought her heavy-duty boots down with incredible force. The ground buckled and sent a jagged fissure of kinetic energy toward the spinning blades which knocked them off course and sent them crashing into a vacant building.
"Now," Ironhide said. "Magnum Burst," Ironhide bellowed. His cannons gathered a massive amount of heat before unleashing a dual-shot of molten lead. The rounds slammed into Blackout's shoulder and melted the armor. It forced the Decepticon to roar in pain.
"Veridian Siege-Pulse," Greenlight added as her arm-cannons unleashed a pair of heavy energy spheres that travelled through the air and slammed into Blackout's torso.
Blackout torso plates came flying off as fluid started to leak out. He recovered quickly. "Heavy Cannon Salvo," he said as a second barrage of thermal rounds erupted. They went flying through the air.
Greenlight, Lancer and Ironhide jumped out of the way. The rounds hit the ground beneath them and exploded. There was a massive explosion as derby was sent flying.
Blackout charged forward towards them.
"Aegis Overrun," Lancer said as she charged forward like a freight train and slammed into Blackout's midsection.
Blackout was pushing back from the tackle. He slid backwards. "Aegis Slice," Lancer added as her knuckles opened to reveal a sharp blade. She swung and sliced across Blackout's leg and caused sparks to fly.
Blackout kicked her back and reached for his blades once more.
"Veridian Breach-Charge," Greenlight said as she slammed her cannons together to form a single rail-gun. She charged the cannons up. It was glowing green. She then shot a green beam towards Blackout. The beam hit Blackout`s face and destroyed his eye.
"My eye," Blackout said as his eye was destroyed. There was spark and grey liquid coming out. His eye face was partially.
Ironhide stepped forward. His cannons glowed orange. "Vanguard Crush," he yelled as he jumped in the air. He swung his massive cannon like a club and smashed it into Blackout's head. The Decepticon was dizzy as his jaw broke.
Ironhide followed up. "Ironhide Salvo," he said as he fired his cannons at point-blank range. The cannon blasted Blackout and went through his body. There was a gaping hole.
Blackout staggered as smoke poured from his joints. He was badly damaged. He gathered his remaining power. "Heavy Cannon Salvo," he said as he fired another series of rounds at Ironhide.
Ironhide was too close and got hit. The rounds hit Ironhide in the chest as it exploded and created a massive smoke cloud.
Ironhide was thrown back from the explosion and skid on his back.
"Ironhide," Greenlight said. She turned her attention to Blackout. "Veridian Blast," Greenlight as her cooling vents screamed. She fired a massive spiraling bolt of raw power that tore through the air. It collided with the Blackout chest and tore another massive hole in this body. The wires were disintegrated.
"Aegis Blast," Lancer added as her palm opened. It started to glow orange and unleashed an energy beam that hit Blackout right in the center of his spark chamber. There was an explosion which rocked his entire body.
Blackout collapsed onto his back. His systems were sparking and his single red optic faded. The giant was finally still.
"Hmph," Ironhide huffed as he got up. "That was a big one," he said. He looked up and saw Blackout was down. "Big fan, no spark," he added.
"We did it," Greenlight said as her vents finally slowed down.
Lancer retracted her armor. "Is everyone alright?" she asked.
They all nodded.
"Let's keep going," Ironhide said.
