Acroniya, a place close to heaven on Earth. Majestic mountains standing in their glory, still for ages, covered by clouds; never-ending waterfalls spreading life all over Acroniya.
All living forces share a common connection with nature, a strange yet powerful one. Nature's calm energy flows throughout Acroniya. The land, once blessed, was covered in flames of destruction and chaos.
However, the people of Acroniya have complete faith in their heroes to protect their trust. The Acroniyan army is trying their best to protect their people; one unit of the Acroniyan army is on the move.
Zellto and his Kazos entered the place covered in blood and destruction; buildings crumbled and turned into dust. Zellto and his men inspected the area and found a group of Neothaliyan beasts feeding on the bodies of Acroniyans.
Zellto made a quick call and said, "I will attract the beasts. Five of you go and search for survivors, and the rest try to kill as many beasts as possible." He added, "Is that clear?" "Yes, Vice Commander," all Kazos replied in a single voice.
Everything went to plan and they were able to kill five of the eight beasts, and then backup arrived. "Zellto, we can handle it from here. You need to go to the outskirts. Take these Wind Beasts," Julicious said, pointing towards hundreds of beasts standing calmly beside the Acroniyan army.
Zellto looked towards the Wind Beasts. Julicious said, "They may look weak with mere flesh and bone, but despite their hollow bones, they are powerful enough to carry ten times their weight, and most importantly, they are actually fast."
Zellto nodded to Julicious and turned towards his soldiers. "Let's go!" he said, shouting to increase the morale of his soldiers. Every Kazo replied, "Let's go!"
Julicious waited for Zellto. "Now, let's fight," he said, looking at the herd of beasts craving human blood and flesh.
"Kazos, Commander Julicious will be fine. Everyone get ready for the fight and remember, our priority is to protect and evacuate the people. The army will reach here soon to eradicate those pests," Zellto gave clear instructions.
The Kazos replied in one sound, "Understood!" Zellto, along with the Kazos, moved into the outskirts south of the royal castle.
After traveling for ten minutes, they encountered their first enemy, a Razor Fang. Corrupted flesh of the beast covered with blood was melting and falling all around it, its busted veins releasing dark red blood on the ground.
It started destroying everything it touched. The melted flesh falling made an opening from where its bones were clearly visible; its bones had completely turned dark. It had only one eyeball, which was also half-melted.
Zellto shouted, "Everyone be careful! Its blood is highly corrosive." The Razor Fang bit its own arm and threw its blood all around him.
A Kazo was pulled aside. Blood fell on a Wind Beast, but nothing happened. "His blood is not that strong, let's finish him!" one of the Kazos closest to the beast said, heading towards the beast. Before Zellto could say anything, he attacked the beast.
Zellto shouted, "Move back!" but he did not listen. Zellto moved towards the beast and said, "Wind Warriors are immune to corrosive blood."
Zellto rushed towards the beast, cutting that beast in half. He pushed the Kazo back who had tried to attack the beast.
Beast blood sprayed like a fountain.
Zellto quickly kicked the beast's body away from him, dodging a few drops which were falling on him. The blood started destroying grass, and even rocks present there.
Despite trying, Zellto was unsuccessful in dodging all those blood drops; a few drops touched his left hand.
His left hand quickly swelled, his blood vessels starting to expand. It felt like they could burst at any moment; his flesh was covered in dark marks, and after a while, it started melting.
He quickly opened a bottle containing a liquid of a beautiful white shade and poured it on the affected area. After a while, his hand started shrinking, the dark marks started fading, and his blood vessels became normal.
One of the Kazos asked in worry, "Vice Commander, are you okay?" "Yes, I am okay," Zellto said, taking heavy breaths to control the pain, and in a few minutes, the pain disappeared.
"Let's divide. I, along with five of you, will go west from here; the rest head south," he said. He stared towards that Kazo and started shouting at him, "What were you thinking?"
That Kazo didn't react; lowering his head, he remained silent.
Zellto moved closer to him, continuing his sentence, "If you want fame that badly, go lead your comrades. Die if it is the only option; don't show your enemy any mercy.
Destroy the fear of your comrades and protect our people."
Zellto shouted, "Do you have courage?"
"Yes, sir," that Kazo replied. "Okay, well then go, Vice Captain Andeer Kinomu. Lead us to victory."
Zellto's group started dividing into smaller groups while the battle between Commanders was going to commence soon.
In the Deptor Valley..
Commander Neil ordered, "Acroniyan Army, make the 5th formation." All soldiers moved, forming five rectangles. The center most had the most soldiers; the sidewards had less, and so thereafter.
Neil shouted, "We Acroniyans are ready! Raise your weapons! Fight us or leave this place and never return to this land again!"
"Well, well, how noisy you are, Commander of these worms," Commander Zecktor said, moving out of his camp.
"I have an offer for you. I will slaughter you in front of these worms, and then it's their turn, or we can also do the vice versa." He paused, waiting for Neil's answer. He added, "What is your answer, Commander of worms?" and started laughing.
Neil raised his sword, his voice firm but loud, "Naturally, none of them can be achieved by a weakling like you; however, let's keep the armies out for the time being and fight head-on."
"Commander, be careful. Neothaliyans never fight fair," one of the soldiers said to Neil. "Even they don't have trust in you," Zecktor said. He continued, "Judging by this, it seems you are not even worth mentioning."
Neil just raised his voice a bit and said, "I know they completely trust me." And, "Petentieo," he lowered his voice and continued, "don't worry, I will end it soon."
Zecktor shouted in anger, "Don't even think to insult me, you pest! I am Zecktor Neckran, the one who doesn't crave human blood but rather feeds on it! I have—"
"Have you not done yet? By the way, has our duel started?" Neil said, yawning. Seeing this, Zecktor was covered in rage and shouted, "How dare you insult me! The moment you dared to insult me, the battle started. I will—"
"Okay, if that's the case, I should end this really quick." Neil held his sword properly. He rushed towards Zecktor before he could react. Neil had covered all his possible ways to run. "Farewell forever," Neil said.
In a single swift motion, his sword moved across his head, beheading him. While his head flew for a while, Neil shouted, "Your Commander is dead! You have two options: either to run or accompany your Commander to Hell!"
The Neothaliyan Army shouted in fear, "Run! Everyone run! Run for your lives!"
"What just happened?" Zecktor was thinking when his head was falling to the ground. He remembered, "Those eyes and that hair." His eyes grew in disbelief and disappointment, and he thought, "Only if I had recognized him earlier. He looks just like him." Zecktor's head fell on the ground, and only one word came from his mouth: "Landerous."
Neil came towards the head of Zecktor and mumbled to himself, "What was he saying?" Neil took a flaming red gem from his pouch and replaced it with the brown gem. His sword turned red and was engulfed in flames. He moved his sword, and all the corpses caught fire and returned to nature in the form of ashes.
Neil looked at the sky and said, "Lucky there are only a handful of corpses, and no casualties except for him." He looked towards the corpse of Zecktor and added, "At least it is a casualty for them, I guess so."
"We are done here. Let's go now," he ordered the soldiers to move.
— Next time: Commander, what happened? It started again... a mysterious voice.
