Mountain peaks stretched on without end, trees blotted out the sky and sun, black mist coiled everywhere. Though it was daytime, the place still gave off a gloomy, eerie feeling.
"Is it here?"
Varric Combs replied, "Yes, this is the outer edge of the Land of Chaotic Streams. Go any deeper and you'll touch the spatial turbulence. One careless step and you'll be Teleported into The Unknown Land, and you might never escape for the rest of your life."
Varric Combs let out a sigh. "Even though I've done a lot of research on space, I still ended up trapped. If Hendrix and the others hadn't sent over that magical treasure, whether I could have escaped or not would still be a question mark."
Carson Flores asked curiously, "The spatial turbulence can't be probed?"
Varric Combs thought for a moment, then said, "A single space lies on a single plane. Space or time, they're both continuous, right?"
Carson Flores nodded. "Right."
