After receiving the mysterious Shiny Ralts egg from Professor Oak who admitted he couldn't identify exactly what Pokémon would hatch from it Ash and his sister Amber, along with their Pokémon, made their way back home. The walk from the lab was filled with lighthearted energy as Ash lifted Amber onto his shoulders, carrying her playfully like he used to when she was younger.
"Whee! Higher, big brother!" Amber giggled, holding onto his head with delight. Her laughter was infectious, and Ash couldn't help but smile as he walked with steady steps, making sure she felt safe and happy. "This is so much fun! I feel like I'm flying! Can we do this every day?"
Pikachu and Eevee trotted alongside them, occasionally jumping up to nuzzle Amber's legs with happy cries. Clefairy, being the gentle caretaker she was, carried Togepi carefully on her back, following the group with a cheerful bounce in her step.
As they approached the Ketchum residence, Ash and Amber were surprised to see two familiar faces already inside the house.
Erika, the Celadon City Gym Leader, was sitting gracefully on the couch, wearing her traditional, modest Japanese kimono. The elegant garment featured soft pink and green colors, accented by a wide obi sash, a delicate hairband, zōri sandals, and white tabi socks. She looked beautiful and refined, though she was clearly avoiding eye contact with Ash, her cheeks slightly flushed from their previous awkward encounter.
Beside her sat Melody, wearing a more casual street outfit a green cap, yellow sunglasses perched on her head, and a stylish pink and black top that gave her a vibrant, energetic look.
Delia Ketchum was hosting them all with tea, chatting warmly with the girls. When she saw Ash and Amber enter, she gave her son a knowing, motherly smile, as if she already sensed the interesting dynamics unfolding in the room.
Amber tilted her head curiously. "Who are they, big brother?"
Ash set Amber down gently and smiled. "This is Erika and Melody. They're friends from our journeys."
Erika kept her gaze lowered, still embarrassed about the Teleporter incident, while Melody looked at Ash with a hungry, playful smirk, clearly remembering their brief meeting on Shamouti Island.
Amber's eyes widened with innocent excitement. "Are they going to be my new sisters like Misty, Sabrina, Daisy, Cynthia, and Giselle?"
Erika and Melody both blushed deeply at the child's straightforward question. Erika looked away even more, while Melody let out a surprised laugh, clearly caught off guard.
Delia smiled playfully at her daughter. "Amber, your sisters brought these two people here to discuss something personal. They need some privacy for a while."
She gave a sly, knowing signal to her daughters-in-law. Misty, Sabrina, Daisy, Giselle, and Cynthia all smiled back at her, understanding the hint immediately.
Delia gently took Amber's hand. "Come on, sweetie. Let's go visit my friend for a bit. We'll give them some time alone."
Amber nodded happily. "Okay, Mom! Can Pikachu, Eevee, Togepi, and Clefairy come too?"
"Of course," Delia replied warmly. She led Amber and the Pokémon out of the house, leaving the group with the privacy they needed.
The living room fell into a brief, comfortable silence as the girls exchanged glances, ready to begin the important family discussion with Erika and Melody.
Flashback:
After Ash left the house, Misty and the other girls continued teasing Giselle, who was blushing like a ripe strawberry. The playful sisterly banter filled the living room with laughter and warmth. Giselle tried to hide her face behind her hands, but the girls kept poking fun at her in the most loving way possible.
Daisy, ever the gentle mediator, finally clapped her hands to get everyone's attention. "Alright, alright. We've had our fun. But seriously, we should bring both Erika and Melody here. We need to finally discuss what those feelings for Ash really are is it just a passing infatuation, or genuine love like we all feel for him?"
Misty nodded enthusiastically. "Good idea! Sabrina and I can go bring Erika from Celadon City."
Sabrina smiled softly. "I'm happy to help."
Giselle volunteered as well. "I'll bring Melody from Shamouti Island. I think I can convince her to come."
Daisy smiled. "I'll stay here with Cynthia and prepare everything for the meeting."
The harem sisters quickly got to work, each excited about strengthening their growing family.
Misty and Sabrina used the Teleporter to travel to Celadon City, arriving right in front of Erika's house. They found Erika arranging some flowers in her room, looking a bit dazed and lost in thought. When she noticed the duo, she was surprised.
"Erika, it's good to see you again! How are you, girl?!" Misty shouted with joy.
Erika blinked, still surprised. "It's good to see you girls too… but what are you both doing here?"
Sabrina spoke calmly but warmly. "We came to bring you to a family meeting in Pallet Town. We hope you don't mind."
Erika started to stammer nervously. "W-Why do I need to attend your family meeting? I have other things to do…"
Misty grinned. "Really, girl? We know how you feel about Ash. He also told us what happened between you two yesterday. We're having a family meeting to discuss the future, and you're attending it."
Erika was speechless for a moment, her face turning bright red. After some more gentle but firm persuasion from Misty and Sabrina, she finally nodded her head and accepted. "Alright… I'll come with you."
Misty and Sabrina smiled brightly. They took Erika to her room door, spoke the keyword "Ketchum Family," and teleported her along with them to Pallet Town. Erika was shocked and amazed as they arrived instantly.
While Misty and Sabrina were bringing Erika, Giselle used the Teleporter to go to Shamouti Island's shrine. She found Melody playing her flute peacefully, with Slowking nearby. When Melody saw Giselle appear suddenly, she was surprised.
"Giselle? What are you doing here? And how did you come here so suddenly?" Melody asked with wide eyes.
Giselle smiled. "I'll tell you the details later. Right now, I need you to come with me to Pallet Town. We're having a family meeting."
Melody tilted her head. "Why do I need to come to Pallet Town? I don't get it."
Giselle gave her a cheeky smile. "To discuss the future… and because of that comment you made when we left the island."
Melody blushed deeply but, after thinking for a moment, nodded. "Alright… I'll come with you."
Giselle used the keyword again and teleported Melody along with her to Pallet Town. Melody was equally shocked and amazed at the instant travel.
When both Erika and Melody arrived in Pallet Town via teleportation, they were surprised and amazed. They knew Psychic Pokémon could teleport their trainers short distances, but this was on a completely different level.
As both girls looked at each other for the first time, they went to the living room. There they saw a beautiful woman with a visible swollen belly sitting with Daisy. Melody didn't know who she was, but Erika became shocked because she recognized her immediately the undefeated Queen of Sinnoh, the strongest Dragon Queen, Cynthia.
Erika was stunned. "C-Cynthia…?"
Melody noticed Erika's reaction and asked nervously, "Why are you looking so shocked and nervous?"
Erika whispered, "That's Cynthia… the Champion of Sinnoh. One of the strongest trainers in the world."
Melody's eyes widened in shock, and she suddenly felt extremely nervous too.
From the kitchen, Delia came out with a tray of cookies and a tea set. She saw the new arrivals and welcomed them warmly. "Welcome, girls. Please make yourselves comfortable. We're having some light tea and conversation while we wait for Ash."
The group sat down and had a pleasant, if slightly awkward, conversation over tea as they waited for Ash to return.
Flashback Ends
The living room was filled with a slightly awkward but hopeful atmosphere as Ash's harem sat together with the two new girls. Erika and Melody looked nervous, their hands fidgeting in their laps as they felt the weight of everyone's gentle but curious gazes. Both Erika and Melody's eyes widened in shock at the revelation. Erika's face turned a deep shade of red, while Melody looked stunned, clearly not expecting such a direct introduction.
Cynthia continued with a gentle smile. "The reason we brought you both here is simple. We, as harem sisters, want to know what you truly feel for Ash. Is it just a passing infatuation, or is it genuine love like we all share for him?"
The room fell silent for a moment as Erika and Melody processed the question. Erika took a deep breath, her voice soft but sincere.
"I… I think I am in love with Ash. After he defeated me in my Gym, we stayed in contact for quite a long time. I don't know how to describe it, but whenever I think about being with him, my heart flutters. With a smile, Misty gently pushed Ash toward them. He leaned in and kissed Erika first a soft, loving kiss full of promise. Then he turned to Melody and gave her the same tender, passionate kiss. Both girls melted into the moment, their hearts racing with happiness.
After the kisses, Cynthia spoke again with a warm, welcoming smile. "Well, you both really are genuinely in love with our hubby. So welcome, girls, to the Ketchum family and to Ash's harem."
All the other harem girls stood up and welcomed them with open arms and bright smiles.
Daisy stepped forward, her voice full of sisterly affection. "Here we are all sisters now. So don't feel awkward, girls. From today onward, we are one big, loving family."
Erika and Melody smiled back at the rest of the girls with pure joy, feeling the warmth and acceptance surrounding them. The once-awkward atmosphere had transformed into one of love, unity, and new beginnings.
