A whole month had passed since grandparents left, they were living peacefully at the mansion of the nobles which belonged to them, their parents were happy that the full family was finally together again but it wasn't about togetherness, it was all about economy, money and profit, there is nothing like love in this richness, even marriage of nobles is like an contract and will you still call it love? The grandparents were just an assets for their children, and they are also an image of the old generation and missing in the scenario will make others feel suspicious and curious. And one of the biggest reason, other than money, the nobles wanted the grandparents was because if in any case they got caught in forest, Eve and I will also be exposed and the nobles will have to give an explanation and from the both sides they would get a bad impression, first that they had kept their own children in darkness and abandoned them, and the second insult would be that even after having the first child as a reincarnated God, the next kid is disabled which would be wrong in their view and will definitely affect them and also to Emi and everyone in the country or maybe also in the whole world.
Grandfather and grandmother were sitting at a seat, in front of a window and looking up at the dawn sky. The sun was going to rise and they both smiled, having no clue of Eve and I and actually, they have forgotten us in no time, but who even cares whether I exist or not, but I don't know about Eve...but maybe she thinks similarly like I do, so we both would never care about them.
The woman was swiping the broom at the hallways...and she suddenly stopped, a thought covered her mind and she looked down with a faded face. She was a little bit sad, but also feeling a little bit proud and her lips just moved and she said, "Eve and Ichiro would have already left...right? Or maybe going to leave...I really want to see them."
But suddenly another servant passed and hit softly on the head of the woman and said, "Focus on your work, the king of up is going to visit the country and maybe would also come and visit us, focus."
The woman sighed and she started swiping the broom again, she looked at the second servant moving ahead with the broom and made a little bit of angry face and mumbled, "You don't know him, you are a new girl...if you would know Ichiro and if you would know that I visited him and told everything about him, then maybe you would hesitate to say that to me...but she doesn't knows. She's really a kid, she doesn't know anything about this real world." The woman smiled, thinking and remembering the past and said, "...but I have faced the real world...the time with that little guy who had actually became the head of the servants, Ichiro was a nice boy, and he still is, indeed."
"Are you still talking with yourself?" And the new girl interfered again from far, she stopped and looked back at the woman and the woman smiled, nodded her head and replied, "I am doing my work, you do your own work, go and broom at the hall...who knows you will find a prince who will pick you."
And the woman laughed gently and the new was becoming angry, but she was hopeless and she remembered that she is a Senior and she can't speak anything over and she just moved away and left.
It was 6 a.m. and Emi's alarm rang and it was suddenly squeezed from almost nothing. Emi had a fist and she just used her magic for it, and Emi took a turn and started sleeping again, her sleep was more important than anything, no one will interfere in her anyways, she is completely a free bird.
But...do you really think it's so easy to be free? Everyone is a slave of something, and freedom can only be achieved by the slave of your own will and choices, not by watching the world is allowing you and you wouldn't recognize that they are using you and you are also somehow letting them to use you, whether it's name or anything. Anyways...
The breakfast of the nobles started, Emi's father, mother, grandfather and grandmother were at their seats and the grandparents looked at their child, they were completely silent. It actually shows that the grandparents were just an additional identity, in the reality everyone is just a stranger. Emi's parents didn't say anything and continued having the breakfast and the grandparents at the end just ignored it and looked at their breakfasts and started having it.
After the breakfast, Emi's mother finally remembered, "Wait, where's Emi?! Is she still sleeping?!"
Yeah...she had forgotten her daughter, the God one, that whether she's awake or not, she didn't even notice that she wasn't in the dinning hall either, that should be enough...the mother stood with a panic and shouted, "Hey girls!!! Go and make Emi awake and ready quickly! She should reach to her Academy quickly, at least at the right time!"
The female servants started leaving, and Emi's father looked at his wife, smiled and said, "You don't need to worry so much, it's fine, and sleep matters for her, you should let her sleep sometimes."
The mother looked at him with anger and said, "Sometimes? This is the first time I am saying, and did you forget who is going to visit the country today?"
And the question...was enough to make Emi's father afraid, he smiled with a sweat. He took the last sip of the tea, kept the cup on the plate and said, "...No, I had not forgotten...but you know, Emi is fast so she will be ready quickly, you should go and make her ready today. Go and help her."
The mother sighed and she finally started walking to Emi 's room to finally prepare her for the Academy. The grandparents also stood and they all finally started leaving and no one had even gave them a single word from the starting of the day, they remembered something by that but couldn't understand what that thought or the past it is even, it was just a feeling they couldn't understand or remember and at the end they just forgot it all and didn't care much about the strange thought either and just went back to their room.
Emi was still sleeping and suddenly the gates were blown-- but it flew back and closed the gates again and this time it even locked it. Emi was still using her magic while even sleeping and the servants were hopeless. They tried to wake her up, they knocked at the gates and tried to call Emi and said, "Lady, please wake up, please get ready quickly! You have to go for the Academy!"
The servants were scared from Emi at this point because they could lose their job all because of it if she didn't wake up and didn't get ready, who knows that the nobles fire them from the job because they weren't able to wake her up and prepare her quickly.
The mother also came in a rush and the servants were relieved, they won't lose their job because the noble herself is interfering in it...but still a little bit of fear remain on their heads, because who knows that they would still be blamed for everything if Emi becomes late today, at other days she is always late anyways.
The noble came in front of the gate and shouted on the servant, "Why you all are just standing and watching?! Open the gate and just pick her up and make her ready immediately!"
But the question was how?! The servants tried to explain the noble and said, "We opened the door but Lady closed the gate somehow and locked it from inside! We can't open the gate, we can only knock at the gate for now."
The mother was surprised, a bright smile came on her face and she stick to the gate and said, "You can use magic even while sleeping Emi?! That's incredible!"
The servants smiled with a sweat...the mother is being happy instead of panicking at this point, they really would never understand this for sure, why the mother who was panicking just now was appreciating her daughter that she can do magic while sleeping, instead she should be more worried by that because it basically means that it's almost impossible to wake her up, or I say that they can't even enter in the room to wake her up because even if they break the gate, Emi can still block them or maybe repair it and make it locked again, if she has that type of magic power, but the mother was happy.
Emi was awake, sitting on her bed and rubbing her eyes, still feeling a little bit sleepy and suddenly the gate opened the mother fell down and the servants helped her immediately to stand and some ran to Emi. The mother looked at the servants with complete anger and she stood and with anger said, "No one saw that...right?"
The servants started sweating and they nodded their head and said, "We didn't see anything, Miss! You don't need to worry about that!"
Falling down would look like insult of the nobles, if someone looked and saw that, the nobles would be the most angry person on the world, and even if by chance someone laughed on them...the servants will lose their eyes for sure, this is the world we know.
The noble was angry, she ignored the servants and started walking to Emi and said, "And never touch me by your dirty hands, look yourself first and remember that I am a noble, who is respected by everyone, have some sense."
And the servants just bowed down and apologized, "We are sorry for that our Miss!!!"
But it was so wrong, they even helped her to stand and she's saying that, if no one would have helped her then they would definitely be fired from the job, this is the discrimination of the world, nobles are treated at Lords and the normal people as pets, no one is a human in this world.
The noble ran to sleepy Emi and Emi finally left her bed and stood and the mother came to her and Emi hugged her and greeted, "Good morning mom..."
The mother smiled and she patted on Emi's hair and said, "Good morning Emi, did you have a great sleep?"
Emi nodded her head and the mother smiled and replied, "That's good to hear then, now let's go and get ready quickly, you have to go to the Academy. Go and get ready quickly, the breakfast is ready, I have prepared everything for you."
Emi left her mother and nodded her head and started walking to the bathroom to get ready and left and the mother looked at the servants with anger, her face was showing that the servants did almost nothing for all that and it was the noble only who handled it. The servants bowed down themselves in front of her and apologized, "We are sorry that we couldn't help you at anything. We are sorry."
The noble just moved her lips and the servants were more bowed down and they apologized again and started leaving, being sad at the beginning of the day only...well, it's normal for them and everyday they have to hear it. It's normal in this mansion, it's the daily routine of everyone.
And at the same 6 a.m. the sun was going to rise and Eve and I were ready, keeping the things in our bags we brought after earning and were almost ready to leave now.
