I lay in bed staring at the ceiling, 'Why can't I remember!' I thought to myself.
I knew there was a twist to the test Kakashi sensei was going to put us through today, but I simply couldn't remember!
"The graduation exam was to test our skills; we had to be at a certain strength to become genin's, so then what's this test for..." I mumbled to myself as I began pacing around my room, "It tested our strength, so does this test our knowledge? No, that's also part of what we did in the academy. Then, I suppose our personalities? Our will, I mean, this whole village is obsessed with the will of fire."
"Lady Hinoka?" a voice came from outside my room.
"Yeah? What is it?"
"I just wanted to remind you of the time; if you do not hurry up, you may end up being late."
I glanced at the clock, realizing how late it had gotten, as I rushed to get ready before leaving.
Just as I arrived at the spot we were meant to meet up at, Sakura turned to me as she exclaimed, "Hinoka, we were meant to meet up here hours ago, so why are you late! And where is sensei?!"
"I was thinking of how to annoy you, and was having so much fun I lost track of time, and then on my way here I bumped into Asuma sensei and lost track of time once again. Time really doesn't like me; it's always running from me."
Sakura glared at me, her whole face turning red with anger, and I promise you I could see smoke coming from her head.
She lunged at me, trying to punch me in the face, but I jumped back dogging it as I laughed at her.
This went on till she finally got too exhausted to continue.
I was about to make my way to Sasuke and ask him about his opinion on the test Kakashi sensei was giving us when both Sakura and Naruto suddenly exclaimed, "You're late!"
I turned around as Kakashi sensei walked towards us, replying, "A black cat crossed my path, so I had to take the long way."
"That sounds ridiculous!" Naruto exclaimed.
"Let's get started. Your assignment is pretty simple; all you need to do is take these bells from me." He showed us two bells. "If you can't get them by noon, you'll go without lunch. And you'll be tied to those posts, and watch as I eat my lunch in front of you."
"But there are 4 of us, so how come there are only 2 bells?" Sakura asked.
"So that at least two of you will be tied to the post and ultimately disqualified for failing to complete the mission. Those two people go back to the academy. But then again, all 4 of you could end up failing. You can use any weapons, including shurikens. If you're not prepared to kill me, you won't be able to take the bells." Kakashi sensei explained.
"But sensei, those weapons are too dangerous!"
"Especially since you couldn't dodge that eraser," Naruto added.
"Class clowns are usually the weakest links; you can safely ignore them, lowest scores, losers... When I say start, you can begin." Kakashi sensei replied.
Naruto suddenly charged at Kakashi sensei with a kunai, but in less than a second, Kakashi sensei was behind him, grabbing the hand with the kunai and pointing it at Naruto's head.
"Why are you in such a hurry? I didn't say start yet."
We all stood there, surprised, as I thought, 'Well, this is going to be fun.'
