Chapter 210: Three Points Earned

With a stern face, Zhang Yang opened the door of the nearby Land Rover, then turned back, crouched down beside Gao Qi—who was still squatting and laughing—and scooped her up by her curvy hips, placing her into the passenger seat.

He got into the car himself, only to find Gao Qi still laughing. Zhang Yang had never seen her this happy before.

Unable to hold back, he asked, "What's so funny?"

Gao Qi finally restrained her laughter a little, but she still smiled sweetly at Zhang Yang. She reached behind her head, loosened her hairpin, and let her long black hair fall freely over her shoulders.

Her hair was just long enough to cover her full chest, and when it fell loose, it gave her an irresistible charm.

"You know," Gao Qi said, staring at the uneven marble road ahead, the dim streetlight casting an old-time glow on the pavement. Her beautiful eyes reflected a trace of nostalgic longing. "I used to go to school right here when I was a kid."

"Back then, because I was an adopted daughter, my classmates always looked down on me. So I often skipped classes and went with a few girls like me—those who didn't like studying—to that same little theater we just went to, to watch movies."

"After all these years, the equipment's still the same, even the fat auntie at the door hasn't changed. Not a single thing is different—not the naughty students inside, nor the so-called 'movies' that pretend to be one thing but are another."

"Pretend to be one thing but are another? So you already knew the films advertised outside weren't the ones being played inside?" Zhang Yang raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "If that's the case, why pay to see it?"

Thinking of that terrible picture quality, Zhang Yang was speechless. Twenty-five yuan could at least get you a proper movie these days.

Gao Qi smiled and shook her head. "Hehe, of course not. I heard that late at night, when everyone's asleep, they secretly play real adult films—like 'Secrets of the Jade Maiden,' 'Officer, I Want You,' 'Love Tales of the Western Chamber,' things like that..."

"I only recently found out this theater was still open. I brought you here tonight to relive some memories and make up for my regret from back then. I wanted to sneak a peek at what they show late at night. But after watching, it doesn't feel the same anymore."

Gao Qi glanced at Zhang Yang, rubbed her face, leaned back in the seat, and smiled. "You know, back then we used to sneak in without paying, and every time we got caught by Aunt Cui, she'd scold us instead of punishing us. She'd lecture us, saying we'd end up like her—illiterate, selling tickets for a living, becoming someone's child bride... blah blah blah."

"Later, we got sick of her nagging. One time, a few of us played a prank and spiked her drink with a laxative. She spent the whole afternoon stuck in the bathroom, and we snuck in for a free movie."

Zhang Yang felt a bit speechless—so Gao Qi used to be a little troublemaker, huh?

"So… you slipped that medicine to Cai Yu today because it reminded you of what you did as a kid?"

"Mm!" Gao Qi chuckled. "But that idea was Little Demon's contribution. It just felt… nostalgic."

"Speaking of that," Zhang Yang thought for a moment.

"There's something I don't get. You said the orange juice and Wahaha this afternoon were both spiked, right? So how come nothing happened to you?"

"Idiot. Zi Xuan gave me an antidote beforehand—it dilutes and neutralizes the effect."

"Thinking back, life back then was carefree. Later, I came to my senses. So what if I was adopted? You still have to rely on yourself. So I started studying seriously, got into No.1 High School, and then into Meining University."

"In a flash, ten years have passed…"

"The only regret is I've never had a real romance. I used to envy those couples who'd sneak off to the movies together. I was so jealous…" Gao Qi smiled dreamily, her eyes curving with a girlish glow.

As she spoke, she gently rested her head against Zhang Yang's shoulder, rubbing softly, showing a rare tenderness. "Thank you, Yangzi. When you grabbed my hand and ran just now, it felt like my first love."

As she spoke, her lips brushed closer until they pressed against his. Zhang Yang froze as her soft tongue slipped into his mouth like a playful snake, gliding skillfully against his lips.

Having never properly kissed her before, Zhang Yang's heart raced. Under the night sky, he pulled her close and kissed her deeply.

His hand slid up and cupped her full chest, his fingers slipping past her open collar to grasp her soft breasts.

Gao Qi moaned softly and retaliated, her hand darting down and unzipping his pants eagerly…

Gao Qi wasn't wearing anything underneath, and Zhang Yang didn't care if anyone could see. He lifted her onto his chest…

"Ah… what if someone sees?" Gao Qi gasped under his advances. Though she and Zhang Yang were already used to this, and it wasn't their first time in a car, there was still a chance someone who knew her could pass by—or worse, that fat aunt might show up.

But even as she said that, her legs instinctively spread wider…

After a while… Gao Qi lay limp in the backseat, glaring at Zhang Yang as she dressed. Zhang Yang grinned, leaned over, and kissed her cheek. "Thanks, Sister Qi."

Gao Qi gave him a resentful look, pulled a blanket from the backseat, covered herself, and leaned lazily against the seat. "I'm done talking to you. Lulu was right. If I don't help you find more women, you'll end up screwing me and Lulu to death someday."

Tilting her head, she added, "Preferably foreign ones. I heard they're… bigger, hehe."

She shot him a meaningful glance. "Forget it. I'm sleeping. Too tired. Starting tomorrow, you're not allowed to touch me. I'm resting for a week."

Zhang Yang reached back and tenderly touched the sleeping Gao Qi. Her face was smooth as jade, serene and soft. With her lips pressed together, long lashes, steady breathing, and her gently rising chest, she looked like a perfect work of art.

He let out a sigh of relief and leaned back in the driver's seat. Forty points—just enough to exchange for the technical data and production process of the fifth-generation single-crystal nickel-based superalloy material.

"System Assistant, I want the technical and process data for the fifth-generation single-crystal nickel-based superalloy material."

"Confirm!"

After about five or six minutes, Zhang Yang's mind was filled with new information…

He skimmed through it. Since it was cross-disciplinary, much of it was beyond him—but that didn't matter. Military experts would understand. He wasn't discouraged and didn't plan to spend more points for extra clarity.

He glanced at the time—it was just past ten. Two hours left before his meeting with Qiao Yunfeng.

Two hours wasn't much time to organize everything.

Still, he grabbed his iPad and began typing everything he could recall from memory.

He focused on the key sections. With his future father-in-law's lab capabilities, they should manage just fine. If not, he could always provide a more complete version later—it'd just take more time.

After almost two hours, the framework was done—over five thousand words. The full set would easily exceed one hundred thousand.

He checked the time—it was already 11:50.

Turning his head, Gao Qi was still fast asleep. Everyone back at the villa knew he was with her tonight, so no one called to bother him. Only Xu Danlu had texted to check on him.

When he called Qiao Yunfeng, his future father-in-law was still awake. Hearing that Zhang Yang wanted to send over data on the fifth-generation single-crystal nickel-based superalloy, Qiao Yunfeng was stunned for several minutes before he could react.

"Are you serious?"

"Of course I am. I'll send it to you right now."

"No… no, something this important—I'd rather get it from you in person."

Before he could finish, he noticed a new email with an attachment appear on his phone.

Qiao Yunfeng quickly downloaded it, opened it on his computer, and after reading for a while, slapped his thigh. "Good stuff! If we'd had this years ago, that damned Raptor wouldn't have been so arrogant!"

After a moment, he leaned back, lit a cigarette, took a drag, and slowly walked to the window.

Staring at the snow outside, Qiao Yunfeng's eyes grew moist.

Generations of effort and struggle—had they finally surpassed the others?

He thought for a moment, then picked up his phone. Tomorrow, the Cai family was supposed to meet his father at Donghua Garden…
