"It's a jewel that contains a large amount of unknown energy. The Empress found this stone and thought it was beautiful, so she kept it in the treasury for further study. Even if you want to take it, I don't think she will mind."
This world had seen all sorts of strange and unknown things, so the Emperor wasn't particularly concerned about it.
