"Wuhu! Come on, come on! I'm coming!"
Riding the snowmobile he had snatched from the Dragoon, Architect rushed to the side of Renault's spaceship in a puff of smoke.
After throwing down the snowmobile, she ran towards the small wooden house that Renault had set up by the spaceship last time.
She saw that a fire had already been lit inside! Smoke was rising from the chimney!
Obviously, there were already people inside!
"Is there-anyone-at-home?"
Deliberately dragging out her rising tone, Architect shouted as she raised her hand and knocked on the wooden door.
"Oh? It's Architect. You came really fast. Maria just said you we might need to wait a little longer before you come over."
The one who opened the door was Alchemist, who was still wearing that very eye-catching leather apron. After seeing Architect at the door, she let her in.
"Heh heh! But I came straight here as soon as I saw your ship!"
Architect spoke with her head held high, not feeling the least bit ashamed that she had left her job behind to come running over here to get some food.
"Ohhh, but are you alone this time? Didn't your kinda mean-looking accomplice show up?" NZ75, who was standing right next to the fireplace and trying to light it, heard Architect say that and asked with some curiosity.
Gager who came with Architect last time didn't seem to be as easy to get in touch with as Architect. Except for a slight smile during dinner, she had a cold face the whole time, which made people feel that she wasn't good to get close to.
"Heya, that guy's out on patrol! A transporter was just sent over from Griffin's side; it seems to have dropped not far away, and the guy rushed out on patrol in a hurry."
Architect said with a wave of her hand, apparently not giving a second thought to the possible doll on the Griffin transport.
Hearing this, NZ75 raised an eyebrow and exchanged a glance with CF05 next to her.
Although from Sangvis's standpoint, there didn't seem to be any problem with Griffin's transport going down, nor was there any situation that required rescue.
But that transporter likely has surviving dolls. If possible, they feel the need to check the situation, not because they still have sentiment towards G&K, but because it would be a shame to leave those dolls behind.
It might be better to let Renault pick them up.
A few more people to eat could help consume the overstocked supplies.
"I'll go and call Maria for you, just in time for me to go back and get some spices." CF05 put down the cutting board in her hand and clapped her hands at Architect.
Just in time to talk to her commander while getting some things.
"Uh-huh! Please!" Hearing CF05 say that, Architect instantly thanked her, but her eyes were fixed on the large crate in Alchemist's hand.
She had seen these crates before, the last time she was on Renault's side. All of these crates were used to hold supplies, and most of the contents were ingredients or canned goods.
And this crate in front of her right now had been opened by Alchemist. It contained strips of fresh meat.
"If it's fine, just help NZ75 get the fire going. Look at how long it's taking her."
While taking the fresh meat out of the box, Alchemist also fished out a meat cleaver from the pocket of her leather apron and started to cut up the meat.
There wasn't much going on over at the farm right now, so if she went back, she would only be helping MG3 relieve some work pressure. But MG3 was working without any pressure at all.
Although breeding animals is a bit troublesome for her, MG3 enjoys it. MG3 is always happy, which is much better than M1 Garand, who has a headache from looking at reports all day.
Alchemist was taking a break from her busy schedule to help CF05 and NZ75 cut meat and to eat a bit of CF05's special hot pot, which she liked a lot despite it being very spicy. The spiciness was part of the fun; without it, there would be no meaning.
In addition to CF05 and NZ75, other dolls were coming out of the cargo door of the ship one after another.
They were mainly out to play, as most dolls were willing to come out, except for RFB or Ouroboros, who refused to leave their cozy nests and were planning to play games until dusk.
...
Just as the sneaky Architect took advantage of Gager's inattention and ran straight to Renault's side, Gager was working diligently.
Following the footprints of the solitary doll, she was catching up with the one who had fallen behind and trying to find out from the other party's mouth or memory modules what kind of mission the other party was on.
This was very important for Sangvis now. The military and the heavy snowfall in winter slowed down Sangvis's combat and movement speed. Coupled with the more advanced jamming equipment the military had, the intelligence they could obtain was becoming less and less.
Therefore, obtaining intelligence about the recent situation through Griffin dolls was essential.
The more Gager chased the footprints forward, rhe clearer Renault's ship in the distance became, giving her a not-so-good premonition.
In addition, her heart became a little apprehensive...
Because the solitary doll was heading straight towards Renault's location.
If that doll was one of Renault's men... or if the entire transport plane was carrying Renault's men...
Then, upon arriving at Renault's ship, how angry would the other party be... It was difficult to describe...
Although she didn't know why Renault, a mere human, was so scary, the fact that even someone as defiant as Executioner could work honestly under him meant that there must be something about Renault's ship that made her not dare to act recklessly.
Most likely, that person was Renault himself...
Anxious, Gager also looked at the subordinates behind her. They had brought the body of the transporter pilot doll. Although the core had been taken away, some information could still be found from the body...
Moreover, if this doll was really one of Renault's men, taking the body over there might make the other party feel better.
Gager cocked her head, not realizing that she had likely screwed up. She just didn't think it was strange to bring the subordinate's body to the door.
