Chapter 103 - Sae-chan, Tea!

Chapter 103: Sae-chan, Tea!

After reading Chabashira Sae's message, Yuto showed a slightly strange expression.

He said to Karuizawa Kei, "Kei, do you want to go to the faculty office for lunch?"

"Of course I don't! Yuto, why are you asking me that?"

"Because Chabashira-sensei is looking for me. She even told me to come to the faculty office for lunch."

Yuto showed Kei the message Chabashira had sent.

Kei's pretty face immediately showed an unhappy expression.

"Then go see Chabashira-sensei, Yuto. I'll go eat lunch with Matsushita and the others."

"Mm." Yuto nodded.

Kei reluctantly let go of Yuto's arm.

She walked out of the Class D classroom in small steps and caught up with Matsushita Chiaki and the others, who had already left.

...

Yuto took his lunchbox and went to the faculty office.

Chabashira, who had been waiting for him for a while, turned her head slightly.

Yuto casually nodded, then walked toward the counseling room next door.

Yuto and Chabashira did not communicate at all during the entire process.

Even so, both of them clearly knew what the other was expressing.

It almost gave the illusion that they were in perfect sync.

Yuto entered the counseling room first with his lunchbox.

Chabashira followed after him and closed the door behind her.

Click.

She even locked the counseling room door.

Chabashira did not want that damn best friend of hers to suddenly barge in while she was talking with Yuto and ruin their conversation.

Yuto casually sat on a chair in the counseling room.

Then he said, "Sae-chan, tea."

"..."

'I'll endure it!'

Chabashira Sae gritted her teeth. Twisting her slender waist and stepping forward with her long, shapely legs, she pressed the heating button on the water dispenser, then retrieved the tea leaves and a teapot from the cabinet.

Holding his lunchbox, Yuto watched Chabashira busily prepare tea like a little maid.

The helplessness and gloom he felt from leading Class D faded slightly.

Speaking of which...

Yuto had not actually put much effort into leading Class D.

Aside from Koenji Rokusuke, Sudo Ken, Ike Kanji, Yamauchi Haruki, and Sotomura Hideo, the other Class D students had already placed Yuto at their center.

And this morning, Yuto had dealt with Sudo and the other four, except for Koenji.

He had made them obedient, well-behaved students.

So Yuto really could not say leading Class D was especially difficult.

With a stiff pretty face, Chabashira brought the tea leaves and teapot to Yuto.

Then she stared at this troublesome brat with her deep, cold eyes.

"Shimizu, how is the class situation?"

"Everything is going smoothly."

"Aside from Koenji Rokusuke, Sudo and the others were fully convinced by my words."

"They quickly swore to everyone that they would turn over a new leaf, become good students, stop being late or leaving early, and strictly follow discipline," Yuto answered with a smile.

Chabashira rolled her eyes at Yuto.

She did not believe "fully convinced" or "turn over a new leaf" at all.

But she did believe Yuto had indeed handled problem students like Sudo and made them obedient.

This troublesome brat was bad, but he would not fool her about something like this.

After hearing the good news, Chabashira's gloom and anger from brewing tea for Yuto faded a lot.

Even her movements while making tea became much more graceful and natural.

Chabashira sighed. "The situation in Class D is excellent now."

Kushida Kikyo, Karuizawa Kei, and Hirata Yosuke all had leadership potential, and they all followed Yuto.

Therefore, Yuto sat firmly in the leader's seat of Class D.

On top of that, the poor students had also been corrected by Yuto.

So the current situation in Class D really could be called excellent.

"This is the first time I've encountered a Class D this united and stable," Chabashira said to Yuto with a smile.

"Then is this also the first time you've encountered a Class D that lost all one thousand class points in a single month, Sae-chan?"

Chabashira choked on Yuto's words.

Her pretty face twitched, and she wanted to punch this troublesome brat.

"Shimizu, can't you say something happy?"

"Do you have to bring up that awful situation while I'm feeling relieved?" Chabashira said irritably.

Yuto smiled. "Even if I don't mention it, that awful situation will still exist."

"The water is boiling. I'll make tea!"

Unable to stay happy, Chabashira went to brew tea.

Yuto smiled and opened his lunchbox, eating the lunch Chabashira had prepared for him.

While brewing tea, Chabashira spoke.

"Shimizu, now that you can be considered officially leading Class D, I should tell you some information too."

"What information? Is it about exams related to class points?" Yuto asked casually.

Class points were tied to whether the class could rise to Class A.

So Chabashira, whose obsession was reaching Class A, should tell Yuto information about exams that could earn class points, right?

However!

It was the exact opposite.

Chabashira turned her head and looked at Yuto seriously.

"Shimizu, I will not tell you any information related to the school's exams."

"Why?"

"Sae-chan, if you tell me all the exam information, I can grasp that information and lead Class D to Class A more easily, right?" Yuto asked in surprise.

"That is true."

"But if the school discovers that I privately revealed even a sliver of exam information, both you and I will be punished."

"You being expelled and me being fired would be considered light punishment. We might even be thrown into prison."

"It's that serious?" Yuto clicked his tongue slightly. "Then forget it."

Chabashira turned back and continued brewing tea.

With her back to Yuto, the corners of her lips lifted slightly.

Because her words had fooled Yuto.

If a teacher revealed information about school-arranged exams to a student, the student would indeed be expelled, and the teacher would indeed be dismissed.

But it would not be serious enough to lead to prison.

At most, the school would impose a heavy fine on that teacher.

Chabashira had deliberately exaggerated the consequences to cut off any attempt from this troublesome brat to get exam information from her.

Making the class rise to Class A was indeed Chabashira's obsession.

For that obsession, she would do many things.

For example...

Acting as a nanny for a certain troublesome brat.

Even though Chabashira wanted Class D to rise to Class A and fulfill her long-standing obsession, she did not want to harm Yuto and get him expelled.

Besides, Chabashira had great confidence in this troublesome brat.

He had unbelievably ruled all of Class D and united the students.

Then he must also have the ability to lead everyone in Class D to Class A through proper means.

So Chabashira felt there was no need for her to deliberately reveal exam information to Yuto.

Chewing his delicious lunch, Yuto casually asked, "Then what information did you want to tell me, Sae-chan?"

"Information related to the students of Class D."

"Since you've already started leading Class D, you need to know the background and situation of Class D's students."

"That makes sense." Yuto nodded.

With her back to Yuto, Chabashira continued speaking.

"Although Class D is the worst class in this school, this year's Class D has many impressive students."

"You, Shimizu Yuto, Horikita Suzune, Kushida Kikyo, Karuizawa Kei, Hirata Yosuke, Yukimura Teruhiko, Koenji Rokusuke..."

"Mm. Sudo Ken can also barely count as one of the impressive students."

"Although his grades are terrible, he is very good at sports."

"I've had contact with all of these people. Are there any other impressive ones?" Yuto asked.

"There are two more. One boy and one girl. The girl is Matsushita Chiaki."

"Her?"

Yuto raised an eyebrow.

Matsushita Chiaki possessed a beauty that rivaled Karuizawa Kei's, with a slender figure and a rather impressive bust, making her quite popular in Class D.

Moreover, Matsushita was friends with Kei.

So Yuto had a fairly strong impression of her.

"Matsushita Chiaki. Her grades are very good."

"Wait a moment, Chabashira-sensei."

"I remember Matsushita Chiaki only scored sixty-five on the quiz," Yuto said.

"That's right. That is because Matsushita Chiaki did not fully display her ability to avoid unnecessary trouble."

"What unnecessary trouble?"

"Matsushita Chiaki is in your other little girlfriend's circle."

"And the people in that circle are all ordinary in terms of academics."

"Shimizu, what do you think her unnecessary trouble is?" Chabashira said with a faint smile.

"Cough. What do you mean, other little girlfriend? Chabashira-sensei, what are you talking about?" Yuto coughed lightly.

"Heh."

Chabashira's lips lifted, revealing an expression of contempt toward a playboy.

Chabashira knew about Yuto's intimate relationship with Airi.

She also knew about his close relationship with Kei.

So this troublesome brat was clearly two-timing.

What surprised Chabashira most was that Airi, the official girlfriend, did not get jealous or make Yuto stay away from Kei.

Chabashira truly could not understand girls nowadays.

They could actually watch quietly while their boyfriend got close to another girl.

Although Chabashira's contemptuous gaze was slightly thrilling, Yuto wasn't a masochist. He wasn't into that kind of thing, so he changed the subject.

"Sae-chan, I understand what you mean."

"You're saying Matsushita Chiaki deliberately held back on the exam to maintain a friendly relationship with Kei and the others, keeping her score close to theirs, right?"

"That's right."

"So, Shimizu, when you have time, go talk to Matsushita Chiaki."

"Tell her that if she has ability, she shouldn't keep hiding it. She should fully assist you in leading Class D."

"Mm, I'll remember that. Then who is the other person?"

"The other one is named Ayanokouji Kiyotaka."

Chabashira's cold, alluring voice instantly made Ayanokouji Kiyotaka's expressionless face flash through Yuto's mind.

"As for Ayanokouji Kiyotaka, although I've had contact with him before, we haven't interacted much."

"I only know his physical ability is very strong. It might even be higher than Koenji Rokusuke's," Yuto said.

"That exaggerated?" Chabashira looked at Yuto in surprise.

Chabashira paid a lot of attention to Yuto, so she knew he had once made a fifty-meter freestyle wager with Koenji.

Because of that, she also knew how impressive Koenji's physical ability was.

Now Yuto was actually saying Ayanokouji Kiyotaka's physical ability might be higher than Koenji's?

Yuto looked at Chabashira strangely and complained.

"Sae-chan, why are you surprised? Don't you know Ayanokouji's situation?"

"Uh..."

A trace of embarrassment flashed across Chabashira's pretty face.

She explained, "I really don't know much."

"Ayanokouji scored exactly fifty points in every subject on the entrance exam, so I guessed that he was also hiding his ability."

At that moment, the phone in Chabashira's suit pocket rang.

She stopped talking with Yuto and took out her phone.

"Mm? It's an unfamiliar number? Who is it?"

Chabashira gave Yuto a look.

After Yuto lightly nodded, Chabashira walked to the window of the counseling room and answered the call.

About thirty seconds later, Chabashira hung up.

Yuto noticed that this beautiful homeroom teacher's expression had become slightly strange.

He could not help asking, "Chabashira-sensei, what happened?"

"Shimizu, guess who called me just now."

"Hoshinomiya-sensei invited you to drink again?" Yuto said with a smile.

Chabashira, whose expression was somewhat strange, rolled her eyes at Yuto.

"Chie may like drinking, but she wouldn't dare drink during class hours."

"That call was actually from Ayanokouji Kiyotaka's father."

"Mm? What a coincidence?" Yuto asked in surprise.

It really was a coincidence.

Yuto and Chabashira had just been talking about Ayanokouji Kiyotaka, and then Ayanokouji Kiyotaka's father called Chabashira.

Yuto froze slightly, then realized something and spoke.

"Chabashira-sensei, Ayanokouji's father shouldn't be inside this school, right?"

"Correct."

"Then he obtained your phone number from the outside and called you?"

"That's right."

"Can teachers' phones contact the outside world?"

"Only homeroom teachers and certain teachers' phones can, because the school has granted them permission to make external calls."

"Shimizu, why are you asking this?" Chabashira asked.

"Nothing." Yuto shook his head.

Just now, Yuto had recalled what Koenji had said.

Koenji said he had a way to contact the outside and make money transfers.

So that method was through some teacher's phone?

Even a teacher had fallen to Koenji's money offensive and was helping him work...

Money really was an incredible thing.

"Chabashira-sensei, why did Ayanokouji's father contact you?" Yuto asked.

Chabashira's expression turned strange.

"He said Ayanokouji Kiyotaka entered this school without permission, so he told me to process his withdrawal."

When Chabashira remembered the tone of Ayanokouji's father, she could not help frowning.

What was with that commanding tone from high above?

"Withdrawal? Why does Ayanokouji's father want him to withdraw?"

"How would I know?"

"Because I hated his tone, I directly told him I couldn't process the withdrawal and told him to contact the school's principal instead," Chabashira answered with a shrug.
