Entrance of LUWA
"WOW! Look at that girl. Isn't she the daughter of the Special Police Force officer?"
"Yeah… I know, right? Isn't she amazing?"
The whispers spread through the entrance hall like wildfire.
Students lined both sides of the academy pathway, staring at the girl who had just stepped through the gates of LUWA Academy.
She looked older than the others—mature, elegant, untouchable. Long black hair flowed down her back in soft waves, shining beneath the morning light. Her face was beautiful enough to silence conversations for a moment.
Yet despite her appearance, she was still only a teenager.
Not far away, a female instructor watched the scene with tired eyes.
"It's amazing," she murmured quietly, "how simply being the child of officers earns someone admiration."
She walked past the students.
"Good morning, ma'am!"
The children immediately straightened themselves.
But the moment she crossed them, nervous whispers followed behind her.
"She's really scary…"
"Yeah. Just one glance from her makes my blood freeze."
"I still think she got that title for no reason."
A younger boy blinked in confusion.
"What title?"
The girl beside him lowered her voice dramatically.
"'The Wild Beast of LUWA.'"
The instructor continued walking as though she heard nothing.
But inside her mind, silence roared.
The Wild Beast of LUWA.
That's what they call me.
But my name is Hina… Hina…
Her steps slowed slightly.
Why can't I remember the rest?
A sharp headache pierced through her skull.
Hina closed her eyes for a brief second.
Every time she tried to remember her past, pain answered instead.
She looked delicate like a lily, yet the aura surrounding her felt dangerous—almost beast-like. Her short brown hair brushed softly against her neck, framing calm features that carried nothing but gentleness.
And yet… people feared her.
Her brown eyes held faint traces of gold within them, sharp as unsheathed blades.
No one knew whether the rumors about her were true.
Not even Hina herself.
It was only the beginning of June
While the country welcomed an familier face , another figure arrived in the city.
A woman stepped out of the airport alone.
No family waited for her.
No warm greetings.
At that very moment, her parents were busy celebrating the enrollment of their second daughter into the prestigious A-Rank Division of LUWA.
She could not even blame them.
After all, she had never informed them about her arrival.
A small smile appeared on her lips at the thought of her family happily gathered together.
Even from afar, she could already imagine the warmth filling the house.
She did not head toward her family.
Instead, she disappeared into the city.
Her beauty was quiet yet breathtakingly refined.
At twenty-four, she carried herself with a calm elegance that felt almost untouchable. Deep brown eyes rested beneath long lashes, softened by hidden exhaustion and years spent far away from home. Though gentle warmth lingered within them, there was also distance—like someone who had learned to hide her emotions too well.
Her smooth sun-kissed skin glowed softly beneath the city lights, while dark curls framed her delicate features before falling gracefully over her shoulders. Dressed in pale ivory, she looked effortlessly luxurious, the kind of beauty that did not beg for attention yet captured it naturally.
There was grace in every movement she made. Quiet. Controlled. Noble. As though elegance itself had chosen her long ago.
Like a forgotten memory wrapped in gold and moonlight.
And yet beneath that beauty rested something colder—something unreadable. A silence too deep for ordinary people to understand.
A luxurious black car waited for her outside the terminal.
Without hesitation, she entered.
The vehicle drove toward the darker side of the city.
Toward the alleyways.
Toward secrets.
Soon, the streets became crowded with masked figures.
Foxes.
Wolves.
Ravens.
Animal masks of every kind hid the identities of those gathered there.
Tonight, an underground auction was being held.
A place where power, information, and even living beings could be bought.
But she was not there as a bidder.
She was the owner.
The car door opened.
The woman stepped out wearing a red-and-white fox mask.
Not a single person dared stop her.
A man wearing a silver fox mask immediately approached and bowed his head.
"Welcome back, Master. The auction will begin shortly."
His voice was calm, respectful.
Like a loyal servant greeting royalty.
Together, they walked through the enormous underground hall.
The deeper they went, the less human the atmosphere became.
Some of the staff moved too strangely.
Some eyes glowed in the dark.
And some smiles revealed teeth far too sharp.
They finally entered a private viewing room overlooking the massive auditorium below.
Masked guests filled every seat.
The entire place buzzed with greed.
The woman stood before the glass window silently.
Then she spoke.
"There is always something you must pay to obtain what you desire."
Her fingers lightly touched the fox mask covering her face.
"Isn't that right… Foxy?"
The man lowered his head further.
"Yes, Master."
Meanwhile, far from the darkness of the auction hall, the Climentina residence overflowed with celebration.
"It's a wonderful thing for every mother when her child achieves something important."
Madam Climentina smiled warmly while supervising the preparation of food across the dining hall.
"By the way, Madam," a maid suddenly asked curiously, "I heard an important guest is arriving today. Is that true?"
"Yes," Madam Climentina replied sweetly. "A very important guest. Other than my daughter, of course."
The maid tilted her head.
"A professor?"
Madam Climentina nodded.
"Yes. Since no houses near LUWA are available, he'll be staying here for some time."
Before the maid could ask another question—
Ding dong.
The doorbell rang.
Madam Climentina immediately walked toward the entrance.
Meanwhile, the maid named Selena silently finished multiple tasks in seconds.
The broken garden outside restored itself.
The unpleasant smell near the freezer vanished.
Even the scattered mess throughout the house disappeared.
Not through effort.
But through ability.
When the front door opened, a breathtakingly handsome young man stood outside.
Black hair.
Golden eyes.
Features so perfect he looked like a sculpture brought to life.
"Hello," he said with a graceful smile. "Are you Miss Climentina?"
"Yes, that would be me."
"Oh, wonderful. I'm Wang Jin."
His smile deepened.
"You may have heard about me from your husband already."
He politely handed over his identification.
"Ah! How rude of me," Madam Climentina exclaimed. "Please come inside at once. Think of this as your own home."
"Thank you."
Once Madam Climentina left to prepare refreshments, only Selena and Wang Jin remained in the room.
The atmosphere changed instantly.
Selena quietly raised a soundproof barrier around them.
Her eyes sharpened.
"What are you doing here… Guild Leader?"
Wang Jin looked at her calmly.
Almost amused.
"Hm?"
He stepped closer.
"You're asking why I'm here?"
His golden eyes glimmered dangerously.
"Shouldn't you already know the answer?"
Selena clenched her fists.
"But I'm trying my best, sir!"
Wang Jin smiled.
Gentle.
Cold.
"Are you really?"
"You took a hole month ,but still couldn't catch a hint "
"But sir !"
Before even Selena said something Wang gave her a signal before miss climentina's arrival .
