Chapter 110 - Guh... Kill Me!

Chapter 110: Guh... Kill Me!

Shiro immediately cried out in his heart that things were bad.

It seemed she really had come with the idea of raising a Shota for herself.

What he did not know was that Saikyo Nene had already endured for several years while waiting for him to grow up.

If he had never appeared, then Nene, who kept competing with Kurono, would have tried every possible way to experience this so-called feeling of "love." Yet when searching for a suitable partner, she would discover that almost no one was truly worthy of her.

The more she failed to obtain it, the more she would desire it.

In the end, she would have turned into the kind of adult with a chaotic private life.

"Guh... Just kill me."

Realizing that he could no longer escape Nene's palm, Shiro put on an expression that said he would let her do whatever she wanted.

"Damn it... From the way you talked dirty with me when you were little, I knew you'd definitely grow into the flirtatious type, but I didn't expect you to move this fast."

There was a trace of unwillingness in Nene's words.

If she had known, she would have eaten him before leaving a few years ago.

She had never expected that once he grew up, he would so quickly...

Wait.

Watched him grow up?

Only now did Nene realize that she seemed to possess the loser-childhood-friend attribute.

But it was too late for regret now.

Even Shinguuji Kurono, whose Blazer ability controlled time, could not turn back the clock.

First place had already been taken.

And so, Nene revealed her little fangs and glared fiercely at Shiro.

At the very least, she had to seize second place.

"Wait, Nene, what are you doing?!"

"Doing it!"

"This is still the hallway, hey!"

Although Shiro was indeed lecherous, that did not mean he was a pervert. If someone passed by at this moment and saw what happened next, his life would be over.

"What exactly are you planning to do to your kouhai inside my academy?"

Fortunately, at that moment, a savior appeared.

Kurono, dressed in a suit, appeared behind the two of them.

"You scared me. How mean, Kuro-chan~ Yours truly was preparing to do something especially important with kouhai. Even if it's you, if you interrupt someone at a time like this, yours truly really might kill you~"

Nene removed the hand that had been tugging at Shiro's clothes, then hid behind him and peeked out with only her small head.

"As if you could kill me. More importantly, lend Shiro to me for a moment. I have something important to discuss with him."

"Uwaa, can't you talk about it later? This might be one of the most important moments in yours truly's entire life, you know. Kuro-chan really can't read the room~"

Nene waved her little fists and complained loudly.

Her childish behavior earned her a roll of Kurono's eyes.

"If it's that important, then don't livestream it in public. Pick somewhere empty and I promise I won't interrupt you."

Saying that, Kurono looked toward Shiro and began discussing the serious matter.

"The swordsmanship you used to defeat Stella earlier was [Twin-Wings], wasn't it? I won't ask where you learned that technique for now, but I'll warn you in advance. If you use that swordsmanship during the Seven Star Sword Art Festival, things will become very troublesome."

At present, the only user of [Twin-Wings] was Edelweiss.

If Shiro used that swordsmanship at the Festival, countless people would certainly start guessing about his relationship with her. There were also people hidden in the shadows who would not simply watch as a second [Twin-Wings] appeared in the world.

One could easily imagine how many problems Shiro would encounter if he used that swordsmanship at the tournament.

However, Shiro himself did not care about that matter.

He straightened the clothes Nene had messed up and said,

"Isn't that even better? My [Twin-Wings] is still incomplete right now. When experience packs delivers itself to my door, why wouldn't I eat it?"

"Exactly, exactly. If people come out looking to die, just kill them~"

The perfect back-and-forth between Shiro and Nene, along with the killing intent now leaking from the two of them, made Kurono open her mouth.

In the end, she could only sigh helplessly.

"Forget it. Use it if you want. Rather, if you know all this and still dare to use it, that's even better. I'll help you deal with the trouble that might come from the League."

In recent years, Hagun Academy's performance at the Seven Star Sword Art Festival could only be described as miserable. Aside from Toudou Touka, their academy had failed to even reach the top four for several years.

Shiro and Stella's appearance represented hope.

And not just any hope, but the hope of winning the championship.

Of course Kurono wished Shiro would use every technique he could to ruthlessly bully the other schools. However, before being Hagun Academy's director, she was also a teacher.

She needed to take responsibility for her students' safety.

Since Shiro himself felt there was no problem, Kurono no longer tried to persuade him. She waved her hand, signaling Nene to continue, and prepared to leave.

Suddenly, she seemed to think of something and paused, then turned back to Shiro.

"Right. Could I trouble you with something? While you're studying at Hagun, could you train Kurogane Ikki a little?"

"Kurogane?"

Kurono nodded.

"Mm. Don't let his honest look fool you. To tell you the truth, before seeing your swordsmanship in the training field, I always considered him one of our school's candidates to win the championship."

Kurogane Ikki.

Currently, Hagun Academy's only F-Rank knight, and also a member of the Kurogane family.

In this world where magic power reigned supreme, F-Rank magic power only meant "having" magic when compared to an ordinary person. In actual combat, it was only equivalent to a strictly trained normal human.

Even if his exaggerated physical ability was included, at most, he would only reach the combat strength of a C-Rank knight.

To put it cruelly, even if Shiro stood still, Ikki might not be able to break through his magic defense and injure him.

At first, Shiro had thought Kurono had simply been unable to bear watching a knight like him be buried by the academy's rules, which was why she had kept him. But if someone had even a chance of winning the Seven Star Sword Art Festival, they needed at least the combat strength of a B-Rank knight.

Looking at it now, Ikki clearly had some impressive side that Shiro did not yet know about.

After Shiro nodded, Kurono took a set of keys from her pocket and tossed them into his hand.

"These are the changing room keys. Lock the door and no one will be able to enter. Consider it payment for your guidance."

She explained to the bewildered Shiro.

"Don't think I didn't notice. When this one was tugging at your clothes just now, you only resisted because this was the hallway, didn't you?"

Kurono paused at that point.

She looked at Nene with a complicated gaze.

"If she can tie her heart to you like this, that might be for the best. At the very least, it may let her live a little more like a human..."

After saying that, she left alone while exhaling smoke rings, leaving Shiro and Nene standing in place.

"Come on, kouhai! Senpai will take you for some special lessons~"

After Kurono left, Nene snatched the keys from Shiro's hand. Then, after breathing warmly into his ear, she pulled him toward the changing room of the training field.

Before long, strange singing could be heard from Hagun Academy's changing room.
