"Don't be sad, you still have me and the three kids," Wyatt Perry comforted Claudia Ross gently while holding her.
Claudia Ross grumbled sadly, "You're not my mom."
"If you want, I can pretend to be your mom."
At this point, Wyatt Perry had no shame and wasn't worried about appearances.
Once you've lost face, you can always pick it back up; nothing is more important than Claudia Ross's happiness.
"You're so annoying, you're not a woman," Claudia said, half crying, half laughing, and pinched his taut cheek. Wyatt Perry didn't have much flesh on his face; his features were sharp, like they were carved from stone.
Wyatt Perry touched his chin and said seriously, "Then I'll go get a sex change operation, but..."
"But what?" Claudia was laughing so hard she couldn't keep her mouth closed.
