Claudia Ross heard Ursula Solomon calling her from outside and bounced up energetically: "Mom, I'm coming."
"Mom and I are going grocery shopping; you stay home and watch the three kids. Don't let them get into trouble."
Claudia Ross put on her coat while walking, hurriedly leaving the room.
Grocery shopping was a task usually done by the servants, but Claudia Ross wanted to spend more time with Ursula Solomon, so the two of them shopped and cooked together, like a normal mother and daughter, intimate and sweet.
A large warehouse-style supermarket was just across from the villa area. Claudia Ross and Ursula Solomon dragged a cart over.
A beggar with a severely burned face blocked their way, mumbling something unintelligible.
