She asked, "Mom, have you ever regretted being with Dad all these years?"
"Regret?" An Jia looked at her and said, "Why regret?"
"After all, the time you actually spent together wasn't much."
An Jia said, "I have never regretted it."
"Not even once?"
"No." An Jia gazed at her, "Both your father and I have our own jobs, and the duties we ought to fulfill. We never thought of running away. Rather than regret, what I worry more about... is whether he has taken good care of himself every day."
