By the time the next morning came, when Maimai woke up, the first thing she did was rub her eyes and shout, "Gu ZhiSheng, where are my flowers?"
The room was empty, not even a shadow of a person, only her in her sleepy state.
"Gu ZhiSheng!" Her earth-shattering roar was like a lion's roar.
Sheng Sheng shouted at her from outside the room, "Come out."
As Maimai pushed open the door, she saw an endless shower of flower petals dancing in the sky.
She walked out to Sheng Sheng's side, where the vibrant petals fell on her hair, brushed past her cheeks to the ground, or landed directly at her feet, covering the whole area, countless, as if she had stepped into an ocean of flowers.
Sheng Sheng looked at her, "Are you satisfied now?"
Above them, several airplanes circled continuously.
Maimai looked up at the floral sea, her face splitting into a smile.
"But what I wanted was a bouquet."
