Qin Huai still has so much to say to Grandpa.
He was Old Mr. Qin's most cherished grandson; rather than calling him a grandson, it would be more apt to say that Old Mr. Qin loved him like a 'son.' The guidance he couldn't give to his own children in his youth, he gave entirely to Qin Huai. He hoped Qin Huai wouldn't be like his father, uncles, and aunts—he hoped he could become a true man, responsible and committed, not straying down the wrong path.
Clearly, Qin Huai has inherited all of Old Mr. Qin's wishes, and he is growing up just as hoped, full of promise.
Qin Huai hopes that in the final moments, Grandpa can see him one last time.
Xia Mu asked Qin Huai, "Aren't you going to discuss this with your relatives?"
Qin Huai shook his head, "No need to discuss, just do as I say. I'll make decisions about Grandpa's matters myself..."
