Noah Davies suddenly shuddered and stumbled backward. "You…" He tried to summon all his power, causing it to erupt.
But suddenly, a cold, powerful hand pinned him in midair.
"You know, former Director Noah? Matthew respected you a lot. He considered you a good guy, someone trustworthy." Alice smiled. "He was deceived, so it's no wonder we all were too."
"That just tells us that traitors could be hiding even in our own shadows. And I just hope none of my family is a traitor. But since that's just a hope, I have to investigate. So let's talk a little, okay?" The smile on his face turned into one as cold as ice and as deadly as his sword.
"We have a lot to do…"
Before long, screams of agony and murmurs choked by blood and tears echoed throughout the mansion.
After an hour of intense questioning, Alice emerged holding a head in her hand.
Outside, Emma, Ava, and many troops were waiting for her.
"It's going to be a long week, sisters," Alice said with a smile.
