It had to be said that, compared to physical attacks, assaults targeting the soul and consciousness were much more effective against Robert.
This wasn't because Robert was weak in that area, but because such attacks were more elusive and harder to detect in advance—especially when his soul was still contained within his body.
Back in Robert's original universe, Thanos had once used the Mind Stone against him. However, that Thanos had been even more ruthless than the one before him now—just before dying, he detonated the Mind Stone, unleashing an overwhelming wave of mind-based energy.
Of course, had this happened earlier in his journey, Robert might have been affected. But the transformation into Super Saiyan God had granted him more than just a new form—it had fundamentally elevated him to a new level of existence.
"Soul and consciousness attacks, huh? I have to admit, they're a little more effective than your other tricks," Robert muttered.
As Thanos launched another assault, Robert completed his transformation into Super Saiyan, his aura crackling with divine energy that completely severed the incoming soul-based attack.
Boom!
With almost no suspense, Thanos was sent flying once more.
Yet this time, the surrounding environment remained unchanged. The Reality Stone's power had been pushed to its limits, and the environment itself had begun to solidify, turning into something eerily real.
Buzz!
At the same time, as Thanos' body was flung away, the ground beneath Robert suddenly transformed into a swamp, its thick mud reaching out in an attempt to ensnare his legs.
Crack!
Unfortunately for Thanos, such an attack was meaningless.
In an instant, the mud solidified before being shattered into dust by the sheer force of Robert's aura.
Buzz!
Just as the debris scattered, the entire environment shifted once again.
In the blink of an eye, Robert found himself suspended in the vast emptiness of space, with an enormous star looming before him—larger than even the Sun.
Rumble!
From such close proximity, Robert could almost hear the deafening roar of the star as it descended upon him, a celestial behemoth threatening to crush him beneath its unimaginable force.
Even mountains crumbling into dust paled in comparison to the sheer terror of a star's impact.
Robert, however, remained unfazed. He simply extended his hand.
A beam of energy burst forth, piercing straight through the star.
Pop!
Strangely, the star did not explode. Instead, like a fragile illusion, it dissipated into shimmering bubbles.
There was no need to speculate—this was yet another fabrication of the Reality Stone.
Had Robert not defended himself, the star would have crashed into him with the force of a real celestial body, possibly triggering a cataclysmic supernova—one of the most devastating explosions in the universe, capable of unleashing energy equivalent to billions of years of solar radiation.
But alas, it never had the chance.
Robert's attack had unraveled the illusion before it could manifest into reality.
Swish!
As the false star vanished, so too did Robert.
Thanos, who had been watching from behind a concealed veil of energy, felt his pupils shrink in alarm.
A surge of energy erupted from his Infinity Gauntlet—purple, green, and blue light flaring simultaneously.
Power, Time, and Space.
Pooling their might into his twin blades, Thanos spun and slashed fiercely behind him.
Swish!
But his strike met nothing but empty air.
Robert had not appeared there at all.
Instead, he materialized high above Thanos, unleashing a devastating energy blast toward him.
Buzz!
In the nick of time, Thanos' armor activated an energy barrier, pulsating with purple and blue light as it intercepted the blast.
Crack!
The barrier shattered.
Just as the attack was about to land on Thanos himself, his body suddenly vanished.
Harnessing the power of time and space, he rewound himself to an earlier moment, completely avoiding the incoming strike.
It was becoming evident—without the ability to wield all six Infinity Stones at once, Thanos was no match for Robert in a direct confrontation.
However, by relying on the Stones' abilities to maneuver and evade, he was able to prolong the battle, keeping himself from being outright defeated.
Buzz!
At the same time, Thanos didn't stop his offensive maneuvers.
By now, he had realized that physical attacks were ineffective against Robert.
But soul and consciousness-based assaults could create brief openings, interrupting Robert's momentum and giving Thanos a moment to breathe.
Had he not spent an extensive period recuperating after his first snap—using that time to push his body's limits—such frequent use of the Infinity Stones would have been a severe burden.
But even now, despite his increased endurance, Thanos saw no path to victory.
He finally understood why his counterpart in Robert's universe had fallen to him.
Robert was simply a monster.
Thanos couldn't fathom how a single being could grow this powerful.
At a glance, Robert looked unremarkable—save for his tail, which made him appear like an incomplete primate.
Yet despite his appearance, Thanos was utterly at a loss.
Victory seemed impossible.
A thought crept into Thanos' mind—a thought he rarely entertained.
Retreat.
"I have two options," Thanos mused.
"One: I focus all the Infinity Stones' power into a pure energy attack and try to catch him off guard.
Two: I unleash the ultimate power of the Infinity Stones."
"If neither works… then I'll use the Space Stone to escape, hiding myself in time until he leaves this universe. Let's try the first plan first."
Swish!
Before Thanos could finalize his decision, Robert vanished from his sight once again.
Thanos' pupils shrank.
Not daring to hesitate, he teleported instantly, leaving behind an area flooded with blue and green energy—a time-space swamp designed to trap Robert for even a fraction of a second.
Simultaneously, he concentrated a massive amount of mind and soul energy within the trap, layering in the Reality Stone's influence.
Five Infinity Stones—working together to hold Robert in place for just a moment.
Hmm?
When Robert appeared within the trap, he raised an eyebrow in mild amusement.
Yet instead of breaking free immediately, he turned his gaze toward Thanos, where a blinding six-colored energy beam had been building up.
The full force of the six Infinity Stones.
Thanos had poured all his power into this single attack.
This was not some hastily fired energy wave—this was a carefully prepared, maximum-output blast, wielding every ounce of energy the Stones could unleash short of tapping into their ultimate rules.
Hiss!
The six-colored beam seemed to pierce through both time and space, reaching Robert in an instant.
He had barely begun to release his own energy wave before the multicolored blast had already collided with it, steadily pressing toward his outstretched palm.
"It's working!"
A flicker of excitement gleamed in Thanos' eyes.
Pouring more power into his assault, he pressed the advantage, forcing the six-colored energy closer and closer to Robert's hand.
But at that moment—
Buzz!
Electric arcs crackled across Robert's body.
In an instant, his transformation shifted.
Super Saiyan 2.
His power surged dramatically, instantly overpowering Thanos' attack and sending the six-colored energy wave hurtling back toward him.
Saiyans had a peculiar battle tendency.
Even when they could end a fight instantly, they often held back, escalating step by step to test their opponents' full strength.
And now, Thanos had forced Robert to reveal his second transformation—an accomplishment that even Darkseid, after obtaining the Anti-Life Equation, had barely managed.
"How does he still have power left?!"
Thanos' excitement drained away, replaced by sheer disbelief.
And in that moment of doubt—
The multicolored energy wave reversed its course, blasting toward Thanos.
Realizing he had no time to withstand it, Thanos used the Space Stone to open a portal beneath him, disappearing just as the attack obliterated his previous location.
But where did that energy go?
The other side of the portal—
Two stunned Celestials stared in horror.
The Eliminator: o((⊙﹏⊙))o
The Executor: Σ(°△°|||)
They had no time to escape.
The moment the energy wave struck, they—along with the entire planet—were reduced to cosmic dust.
And Robert?
He hadn't lifted a finger to save them.
Because Thanos had made one critical mistake.
They weren't Robert's allies.
They were his enemies.
