At the same time the necromancers and adventurers were left in a state of shock at the appearance of the towering stone figure that had emerged from the ground and directly smashed the massive mist serpent that had looked unstoppable only a second earlier into the ground, Scaly and Verdel found themselves in a difficult position, as the originally flawless hiding abilities of Verdell weren't so flawless any longer with them running into an SS Rank Monster that had been wandering around the part of the monster army they happened to be walking around.
Even with Scaly seeing this powerful monster before it noticed the two of them, there was little she could do but try her best to blend in with the surrounding monsters and pass off as just another monster.
