The absolute certainty in Yun Shu's voice cut him off. Bai Yunxian finally looked up, finding Yun Shu staring at him with an intensity that made his knees weak all over again.
There was no teasing in her eyes now. Only a deep, consuming possessiveness that made Bai Yunxian feel as though he was the only person existing in the entire universe.
"I love it," Yun Shu repeated softly. She picked up the obsidian hairpin, the dark stone cool against her fingers. She held it out to him. "Put it on me."
Bai Yunxian's hands shook as he reached out, his fingertips brushing against hers. The brief contact sent a jolt of electricity straight down to his spine.
