Suddenly, the dockyard shook violently and debris started collapsing into the sea!
Survivors stumbled, grabbing onto railings and crates for support. The Tridents also braced themselves, as their stabilizers locked them into place.
Then, from the heart of the island, a dark aura emerged.
It spread like a wave, rolling across the land and sea, and it even started chilling the air.
Soon, even the sky darkened as thick shadows spread throughout the whole island…
Furthermore, these shadows didn't seem natural… They felt like they were alive!
After a few moments, the survivors felt the oppressive weight of something ancient awakening.
"What the hell is that?" Lyn whispered with her mech's sensors blaring warnings.
