"It seems like we have pretty good chemistry," I told her. "Honestly, I think it would be a really good idea if I became your official wielder, Samui."
Samui immediately frowned at me.
"I don't know what you're talking about," she said. "Just because I managed to bring out something like that doesn't automatically mean I'm convinced. Becoming your sword isn't exactly a small decision."
"So you still don't want to do it?" I asked.
"That's right," she replied without any hesitation whatsoever. "To be honest, I still don't think you're capable enough. You've shown me some impressive power, sure, but are you really expecting that alone to convince me?"
I made a mental image of her crossing her arms as she spoke.
"Strength like that doesn't really amaze me all that much," she continued. "Do you honestly think pulling off something impressive once would suddenly make me want to choose you?"
