Chapter 104 - The Envoys Strikes Again

It was 9:00 AM.

Suiko was inside the control room of Psytelier's base, filled with advanced technologies resembling supercomputers. A trigger alarm was shown. Something that hasn't happened in a while. 4 Demon Lord Envoys are currently showing their presence, unlike in the case of the Bermuda Triangle and the Lupache region. The locations of their presence showed that they are manifesting in totally different regions.

Demon Lord Envoy Ose manifests in a region previously known as Madagascar.

Demon Lord Envoy Amy manifests in the Siberian Forest.

Demon Lord Envoy Furfur is manifesting in a region previously known as Canada.

Demon Lord Envoy Vine manifests in Japan.

Promptly sending her report to Queen Morgwynevere via a transcommunication device. Suiko got the reply, "I will let you act freely." At her command, Suiko quickly devised a plan before alerting the others.

A few moments later...

"This has to be a trick," Raymed said. "It's a tactic I have felt for once. The Envoys are once again trying to draw us out. Splitting will only cause more problems, especially if we can handle it all at once." Raymed put a hand on his chin and said, "Let's ask the Queen's help to contact Carmilla."

"I already did."

"WHOA!" The whole room said in unison.

Queen Morgwynevere suddenly manifested in the control room with an unreadable expression. "Somehow, a troublesome child had managed to make a jammer. My Esper magical abilities can't reach the United Front. The mana circulating inside that region is massive, as if multiple artifacts are used over there. I do know who is behind all this."

"But, if I must say, then please keep your wits and not resort to anger," Morgwyn said before taking a moment to look at Raymed's face. "I believe this is Zuatha Il Zikmel's doing."

Kourin gasps at the reveal while Suiko and Recca seem confused.

"Zuatha Il Zikmel, undoubtedly, she was a genius scientist and artificer. A fast learner in any endeavor that manages to replicate technologies rivaling humans in a matter of years. The fault lies with Thalamik for giving away the Demonic Core of Raum."

"But, your highness, how can someone of that caliber be under our radar this whole time?" Suiko asked in disbelief.

"It is the fact that she had managed to make a jammer ever since the land you know as North America was claimed as theirs. All the information I can find is that they terraformed North America into an elven city. No more concrete jungles but real forests."

"If Carmilla and Thalamik are in danger, I can't just leave them be..."

"That is the truth. But, if you really think Thalamik and Carmilla are that powerless, don't forget you weren't even there in the war against Raum." Morwgynevere strikes at Raymed's behavior. "There are only two ways you can solve this, Raymed. You must destroy the Four Demon Lord Envoys in their stead. Or you can forsake everything and choose to help them directly."

The Queen turns away from all of them into a wall.

"What should I choose, Your Highness!?"

For a moment, Morgwynevere stops her step. "You already know the answer. If perhaps something unpredictable happens, I can always destroy it fairly easily. But, again, if Ars isn't there, I am not even considering stepping in." She said before disappearing.

"I'll save everyone." Raymed uttered. "I'll make sure of it," his mana levels rising.

Suiko, looking at him, couldn't help but form a smile. "Did you really think you could be at 4 places at once? Recca and I will help 'contain' the others from wreaking too much havoc."

"Yes, yes, Recca can fight too! Yay Fight!" Recca said with a genuine smile.

Suddenly, a warm touch was felt on Raymed's right hand.

As he turned to look, Kourin's face was worried. "I will come with you." Her expression of worry somehow calms Ray down. Kourin is clearly worried that Raymed will once again push himself into standards he can't even reach. At that point, the only one who will be hurt will be him.

"I am sorry for worrying you, Kourin," Raymed said. "I'd be happy to go with you," he said, grabbing both of her hands with his. Instinctively, Kourin closed her eyes, as did Raymed. Both their faces nudge, moving closer.

.

"Hey, Suiko, why are you covering my eyes for?" Recca said in anger, frantically moving her arms.

"You're not old enough, Recca," Suiko said before finally revealing Raymed and Kourin once more.

"Recca and I will first check on Canada. I expect both of you to first deal with the father, that being Demon Lord Amy or Vine. Regarding information that I have on them." Suiko presented a thingamajig. Ray manifested Blastur and inserted it into the red gem.

[Demon Lord Envoy Catalog updated]

"I will take down Amy first, and thank you. We will be as fast as we possibly can." Raymed said with a determined look.

"I can only help you transport once; after that, you may have to travel by regular means," Suiko said as the four of them walked to the teleporter device located in the room near the control room.

Suiko, Kourin, and Recca put on a matching white combat suit.

While Raymed manifested his armor.

"Psyteliers! Roll Out!" With a final declaration from Suiko, the four zapped into their corresponding region to fight against the Demon Lord Envoys.

Up in the sky, Raymed and Kourin are falling, looking at the absurdity of the situation.

A fire giant-like creature.

A giant humanoid with a head of flame was walking in the snowy Siberian forest, trying to burn everything to the ground.

"Ray, we are in Tunguska. If you know about it, this is a place where an Asteroid used to hit. Somehow, that Demon Lord Envoy Amy is absorbing the remnants of mana present in that asteroid. By absorbing fragments of that asteroid, it seems to grow stronger. That's why even in this coldness, he can manifest without much thought."

Raymed reads the intel Suiko provided on his panel board, provided by Blastur.

"I see. So his cheat skill will be immortality. But he can only do that if he consumes enough extraterrestrial fragments. Since he is knowledgeable regarding Astronomy, he can clearly discern which are extraterrestrial objects from space and which are not." "Raymed said.

" I kinda get it," Kourin added. "He is using the fragments to give himself extra lives, or perhaps his immortality is tied to how many fragments he has, and it has a duration limit."

"So we need to destroy it before his puzzle game is complete, huh? Either destroying the pieces or destroying him before he can find them." Raymed put up his signature hand sign.

"Alterity: Cosmopolis"

Mana roots spread suddenly before retracting as Raymed gathered information about any living beings in the Siberian Forest. Approximately within a 50km square radius, there are currently around 12 hikers.

"Kourin, please rescue the hikers over there. I will fight Amy." Raymed pointed.

"Affirmative," Kourin said before flying in the direction.

Raymed stopped himself mid-air, channeling his mana.

[Some of the boons are not activated due to the grantor conditions]

With a soft smile, Raymed said, "I can never thank you enough. Queen Morgwynevere."

In a flash, Raymed disappeared into thin air.

"Nice to meet you, Amy. I have a simple question." Raymed appeared right in front of Demon Lord Amy, who is a gargantuan humanoid torch.

"Thou art not my master. Thou shalt die."

"So negotiations are off the table." Raymed flew directly to Amy's stomach. As he flew, light energy began charging up in his fist almost instantly.

BUK!

BOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With a mighty uppercut, Amy was sent flying into the air.

Even with the Demon Lord's size, Raymed's punch had managed to make it fly up into the air.

"KUGHH!!!" The Demon Lord Envoy growled in anger.

Only for Raymed to appear flying through the air with a tail light directing both of his feet at Amy's chest.

BUK!!!

BOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Upon being hit, Amy was sent flying towards the ground. Crashing onto the ground caused a huge quake. Raymed stood above Amy's body as the red gem of Blastur's armor began to glow blue.

Raymed used his mana channels, extending them into the environment to gather H2O particles. Absorbing the water element onto his energy core.

He directed both his index fingers at Amy's lying down body and said.

"Hydro Jet Rays." Then torrents of water, enhanced with light elements, began surging towards Amy's body. The pressure of the attack should easily pierce through like a missile. Amy had to take this attack for a total of 60 seconds.

What's left of him is but the head.

A torch-like head that is waiting to die.

Raymed flashed as he moved to the remains of Amy. His face was cold, and he made up a hand sign. "Alterity: Cosmopolis".

He double-checked to see if Amy was hiding a nearby copy of his body.

But to no avail, the Demon Lord Amy was without any backup plans. At this moment, he is at Raymed's mercy.

"You... Aren't a human...."

Raymed didn't even bat an eye as he summoned Blastur.

"You are no different than...."

BOOM!

Raymed finishes Demon Lord Envoy Amy with light magic, securing a Demonic Core on his left palm. Quickly, he inserted it directly into Blastur for temporary confinement.

"Kourin, it's done." Raymed sent a message via telepathy.

"Glad you're okay, moving towards you now!" Kourin responded.

Raymed looked at himself in a nearby puddle and said, "How strange, this isn't even on my level."

To this day, Raymed had never thought he would be able to say that to a Demon Lord Envoy.
