How Audrey had a good night's sleep was a mystery when all Audrey could think of was the potion in the infirmary, and also what she had seen Damien doing the previous night
Whenever she thought of it, she went red and her body ached in places she couldn't mention. When she crossed path with Damien, she passed the opposite direction.
She avoided him as if he was the plague. Pretending to sleep when he stepped into the room, and opened her eyes when his side of the bed dipped.
Fortunately, her heart wasn't beating as crazily as it had done the previous night. It was the only thing that kept her sane while pretending to be asleep beside Damien.
Once she saw it was daybreak, Audrey left the room with the urgency of someone who had to save the world.
