As a Spirit Entity, the Spirit Book can still sense Igor's emotions. It's quite familiar with Igor and certainly doesn't want to be tormented by Igor again. Ordinary methods don't affect it much, but Igor's mental torment is particularly effective.
"Don't worry, master, I'll definitely behave well this time and won't embarrass you in the slightest!" The Spirit Book can only desperately try to please Igor, although it's unaware that such efforts only make Igor more annoyed.
This behavior is not natural at all; Igor immediately recognizes it's just being perfunctory. However, Igor doesn't want to waste time on chatter with the book, knowing that time flies when he engages with it.
"Alright, alright, stop dawdling and get down to business. The Respected Wizard is waiting for you!"
