Why does this sound... a bit cheesy?
Laura Jones tried hard to suppress the smile tugging at her lips and nodded again, "Got it."
William Wilson showed a satisfied smile, "If you miss me, just call me. I'll come back right away."
Laura Jones: "..."
"Why do I feel like we're boyfriend and girlfriend?"
She murmured softly.
William Wilson raised an eyebrow, "Not boyfriend and girlfriend."
He corrected, "We're engaged."
With laughter in his eyes, he leaned closer to Laura Jones and whispered:
"Closer than a couple."
Seeing Laura Jones's face visibly redden, William Wilson felt even more delighted.
"Shall I leave now?"
"Oh... Sure... okay."
She didn't even know how she managed to see William Wilson off. As soon as the door was closed, her brain felt fuzzy.
