Laura Jones raised her eyes and met a pair of deep, intelligent eyes.
The familiar face that she imagined as the leading man in her stories was now right in front of her.
A look of undeniable shock appeared in Laura's eyes, making her beautiful almond-shaped eyes open even wider.
The name she was about to blurt out was corrected just in time, "Mr. Wilson, what are you doing here?"
William Wilson looked at her with a faint smile in his eyes, squatting down to help her pick up the scattered items on the ground, as he replied:
"I just moved in today."
He looked at her and asked with a smile, "Do you live here too?"
Laura Jones, suspecting nothing, nodded, "Yeah, I'm in that suite."
She pointed to the door of her home, her eyes shining brightly.
The smile on William's face deepened a little, and he said:
"What a coincidence, we're neighbors now."
Laura suppressed the wild joy in her heart and nodded calmly.
