She covered her face with her hands, her shoulders slightly shaking.

He felt a pang of concern and reached out to pull her hands away, but Memoria flipped over, pulling the blanket over her face.
"Honey, are you really mad? I was just teasing you!" Reese bent down and pulled the blanket off her, "That's not what 'lonely, empty, and cold' means."
"Then what does it mean?" Memoria asked from under the blanket.
"It's simple, I thought you knew. The first part is your initials, the last is mine, and the middle is a heart. Don't you know what the heart means? I've spelled it out for you..."
Reese frowned slightly.
A man like him would face any danger for Memoria without flinching.
But confessing his love in a mushy way was genuinely difficult for him.
"Come on, you know what I mean!"
"I don't understand!"
Memoria replied sulkily from under the blanket.
"Oh come on!" Reese sighed, "Alright, I'll say it: I love you."
