"Why are you standing here?"
Alan Morgan quickly packed up his things and saw Shirley Grant standing at Andrew Davidson's door as he stepped out. The door was tightly shut.
"Oh, it's nothing."
Shirley Grant immediately reined in her emotions, smiling at Alan Morgan.
"Let's go. First, we'll register our marriage, then we'll go see Gerry. Gerry will be so happy to see you."
This whole time, Gerry had been clamoring to find his mom.
"Okay."
Shirley Grant smiled and left the hotel with Alan Morgan.
On a day filled with news about Silvia Waterborne, Shirley Grant and Alan Morgan finally walked into the Civil Affairs Bureau and received their red certificates.
"This is yours, and this is mine."
Each held onto their own certificate and kept them safe.
Shirley Grant was beaming with smiles. She never thought that after seven years, she could still step into this place hand in hand with Alan Morgan.
"Let's go, see Gerry."
The two of them went to the Hospital together.
