Adam was returning to Varreyn while Lakma underwent fusion. Very soon, Adam will gain access to her energy and powers.
It won't be as significant a power boost as when Adam obtained Lone Blaze or the Silver Weaver, but Adam will definitely become stronger.
Lakma will take her place at the top of the Evolution Tree, essentially operating under the Silver Weaver's command.
She won't have her own zone, she isn't strong enough for that, and she didn't have such a deep connection with Adam, but even that was more than enough for Adam's progress.
"I feel it…" Adam muttered as he moved toward Varreyn. "They've already started, right? Well, considering that I'll be heading to the Gray Sea after this, I could use some help."
The higher Adam's level was, the harder it was for him to acquire new abilities. It wasn't that the methods for doing so had disappeared, but rather that the time between each stage was growing longer.
