...

The Celtic Warrior, Sheamus, stomped out from the curtain. His pale skin was stark against the bright arena lights, his fiery red hair spiked high, and the Intercontinental Championship was strapped proudly around his waist. Sheamus pounded his chest, let out a massive, primal roar that echoed through the dome, and marched purposefully down the ramp.

Sheamus slid into the ring, immediately getting face to face with Kofi Kingston. The physical size difference was staggering, and Sheamus looked more than ready for a fight.

The referee stepped between the two competitors, taking the Intercontinental Championship from Sheamus. He held the gold high in the air, officially declaring the stakes for the opening contest of WrestleMania, before handing it to the timekeeper on the outside.

The referee backed both men into their respective corners, ensured they were ready, and signaled for the bell.

The opening match of WrestleMania was officially underway.

Kofi Kingston, driven by the absolute, suffocating desperation of knowing his entire career with the Undisputed System was on the line, did not wait for a traditional feeling out process.

The absolute microsecond the bell rang, Kofi sprinted across the ring and launched himself into the air with a massive, high angle flying dropkick that caught Sheamus perfectly on the jaw!

Sheamus stumbled backward into the turnbuckles, entirely caught off guard by the sheer velocity of the attack. Kofi didn't stop. He unleashed a blistering, chaotic flurry of sharp kicks to the Celtic Warrior's thighs and midsection, moving with a frantic, terrified energy. Kofi hit the ropes, accelerating to top speed, and delivered a beautiful leaping flying forearm smash that knocked the big Irishman off his feet!

"Look at the sheer desperation of Kofi Kingston!" Cole shouted over the roar of the crowd. "He is fighting like his professional life depends on it, because it absolutely does!"

"He has to keep the pace fast, Michael!" Booker T analyzed. "If he lets Sheamus get his hands on him, the sheer power difference is going to shut his lights out! Kofi has to stay airborne!"

Kofi dragged Sheamus to his feet, attempting an Irish whip, but Sheamus planted his feet and completely reversed the momentum, hurling Kofi violently across the ring.

As Kofi rebounded off the ropes, Sheamus lowered his head, looking for a back body drop, but Kofi brilliantly leapfrogged over him. Kofi hit the opposite ropes, launched himself into the air looking for a crossbody, but Sheamus caught him perfectly in mid air!

With a terrifying display of raw, unadulterated power, Sheamus transitioned Kofi's momentum and planted him violently into his knee with a catastrophic tilt a whirl backbreaker!

The sickening thud echoed through the ring microphones. Kofi grabbed his lower back, screaming in agony.

"And just like that, the power of the Celtic Warrior takes over!" Lawler cheered.

Sheamus did not let up. He dragged Kofi to his feet, trapping his arms, and delivered a brutal, short arm clothesline that completely turned Kofi inside out. Sheamus dropped to the mat, applying a suffocating reverse chinlock, digging his heavy forearm directly into the bridge of Kofi's nose, trying to grind the fight right out of the challenger.

"This is exactly what Sheamus needs to do," JBL noted. "Ground the high flyer. Take the air out of the tires. Kofi can't utilize his speed if he can't breathe."

The seventy thousand fans began to rally, clapping their hands in a massive, unified rhythm, not cheering for Kofi, but simply cheering for the action.

Kofi bit his lip, fighting through the pain. He slowly fought to a vertical base, throwing sharp elbows into Sheamus's midsection to break the hold. Kofi hit the ropes, ducked a massive clothesline from Sheamus, and responded with a rapid fire sequence of chest chops.

Sheamus roared in anger, charging forward, but Kofi brilliantly pulled the top rope down, sending the massive Celtic Warrior tumbling over the ropes and crashing onto the ringside floor!

Kofi saw his opening. He hit the opposite ropes, accelerating to absolute maximum velocity, and launched his body completely over the top rope with a breathtaking, perfectly executed suicide dive!

Kofi crashed into Sheamus like a guided missile, sending both men tumbling backward into the steel barricade!

"What an incredible risk by Kofi Kingston!" Cole yelled as the crowd popped massively for the high flying maneuver. "He is laying absolutely everything on the line!"

Kofi quickly scrambled to his feet, grabbing Sheamus by the hair and rolling the heavy champion back under the bottom rope. Kofi climbed onto the ring apron, waiting for Sheamus to slowly stagger to a vertical base. Kofi sprang onto the top rope, launching himself into the air, and connected with a beautiful springboard flying clothesline!

Kofi hooked the leg!

One! Two!

Sheamus powered his massive shoulder off the canvas, throwing Kofi entirely off of him.

Kofi didn't hesitate. He slapped his hands together, hopping up and down, signaling for the Boom Drop. He hit the ropes, jumping over Sheamus, rebounded, and delivered the signature double leg drop squarely to Sheamus's chest.

Kofi retreated to the corner, clapping his hands to the rhythmic beat of the crowd, setting up for his ultimate finishing maneuver.

"He's dialing it up!" JBL shouted in panic. "Trouble in Paradise is coming!"

As Sheamus slowly, blindly staggered to his feet, Kofi launched himself into the air, spinning with lethal intent for the Trouble in Paradise!

But the Celtic Warrior was a masterful brawler. Sheamus ducked underneath the spinning heel kick at the absolute last microsecond! Kofi crashed awkwardly onto the mat.

As Kofi scrambled back to his feet, Sheamus grabbed him, hoisting the cruiserweight onto his shoulders, and executed a flawless, devastating White Noise side slam!

Sheamus hooked the leg!

"White Noise!" Lawler shrieked. "This has to be it!"

One! Two!

Kofi Kingston miraculously kicked out, his shoulder popping off the mat just milliseconds before the three count.

"I do not believe it!" Booker T yelled, his eyes wide. "The heart of Kofi Kingston is unbelievable! He simply refuses to die!"

Sheamus, completely infuriated by the kickout, dragged Kofi to his feet. He hauled the challenger toward the ring ropes, pulling Kofi's upper body through the middle cable, exposing his chest to the ringside area.

Sheamus puffed his own chest out, locking his arms, and began delivering the absolutely brutal, concussive Beats of the Bodhrán!

One! Two! Three! Four! Five! The massive Georgia Dome crowd counted every single, bone jarring impact in perfect, deafening unison.

Six! Seven! Eight! Nine! Ten!

Sheamus forcefully shoved Kofi's limp body back into the ring. Sheamus retreated to the corner, his face turning a deep, aggressive red. He beat his chest with both fists, letting out a guttural roar, preparing to decapitate the challenger.

"He's loading up the Brogue Kick!" Cole screamed. "It's target practice now!"

Sheamus charged across the ring, launching his massive leg into the air!

But Kofi Kingston, operating on pure, unadulterated survival instinct, collapsed entirely to the mat, letting the Brogue Kick sail harmlessly over his head!

As Sheamus spun around, completely off balance from the missed maneuver, Kofi popped up, hooked Sheamus's arms, and executed a beautiful, desperate SOS sweeping reverse STO!

Kofi hooked the leg with everything he had!

One! Two!

Sheamus kicked out with so much force that he literally threw Kofi halfway across the ring!

The match had officially evolved into an absolute, instant classic. The contrasting styles of the two competitors created a breathless, unpredictable masterpiece of professional wrestling.

Both men slowly pulled themselves to their feet, completely exhausted. Kofi threw a desperate right hand. Sheamus absorbed it and threw a heavy clubbing blow to Kofi's back.

Kofi utilized his agility, stepping up onto the middle turnbuckle and hitting a beautiful pendulum kick to the side of Sheamus's head that completely dazed the champion.

Kofi saw his final opportunity. He stepped out onto the ring apron, gripping the top rope. He was going to risk it all on one massive, high impact maneuver.

As Sheamus staggered blindly in the center of the ring, Kofi sprang off the top rope, launching himself high into the air for a devastating springboard crossbody!

But Sheamus wasn't dazed. He was waiting.

As Kofi Kingston hung suspended in the air, a flawless silhouette against the blinding stadium lights, Sheamus exploded forward!

The Celtic Warrior launched his massive right boot into the stratosphere, catching Kofi perfectly under the jaw with a catastrophic, mid air Brogue Kick!

The impact was absolutely sickening. The sound cracked through the Georgia Dome like a rifle shot.

Kofi Kingston's body went entirely limp, crashing violently to the canvas.

"BROGUE KICK OUT OF MID AIR!" Cole shrieked, completely losing his mind. "HE CAUGHT HIM! SHEAMUS CAUGHT HIM IN FLIGHT!"

"Oh my goodness!" Booker T yelled, throwing his hands on his head. "That is it! Turn out the lights! The party is over!"

Sheamus, his chest heaving, slowly crawled over to the unconscious body of the challenger. He hooked the leg, hooking it deep, staring directly up at the seventy thousand screaming fans.

One!

Two!

Three!

DING! DING! DING!

The heavy, driving Celtic rock of "Written in My Face" blasted through the stadium sound system, completely drowning out the massive, sustained roar of approval from the Atlanta crowd.

"Here is your winner," the ring announcer boomed through the stadium, "...and STILL the Intercontinental Champion... SHEAMUS!"

Inside the ring, the referee handed the gleaming Intercontinental Championship back to Sheamus. The Celtic Warrior climbed the turnbuckles, hoisting the gold high into the air, soaking in the absolute adoration of the massive stadium crowd.

On the canvas below him, Kofi Kingston slowly began to regain consciousness. He rolled onto his stomach, clutching his jaw, his eyes wide with absolute, unadulterated terror as the realization of his defeat, and the impending, ruthless consequences of the God King's ultimatum, finally washed over him.

As Kofi Kingston was helped to the back by WWE medical personnel, the seventy thousand fans inside the Georgia Dome did not sit down. The electric, suffocating anticipation that had gripped Atlanta all weekend long was only intensifying.

The Undisputed System had lost the opening bout. Sandro Zhang's terrifying ultimatum from Monday Night RAW was no longer just an empty threat, it was an active, ticking time bomb. The first casualty had fallen, and the blood was in the water.

"The entire complexion of WrestleMania has just changed!" Cole yelled, adjusting his headset as the ring crew quickly swapped out the turnbuckle pads for the next contest. "Kofi Kingston has failed the God King! And now, the pressure transfers directly to the rest of the Undisputed System! Every single member of that faction is fighting for their professional lives tonight!"

"It's a domino effect, Michael!" Booker T added, leaning forward over the commentary desk. "When you rule by fear, and your soldiers start falling, the panic sets in! The locker room is watching this! The Rebellion is watching this! They know Sandro Zhang's empire is vulnerable!"

"You are completely misreading the situation!" JBL immediately fired back, his voice thick with defensive anger. "Kofi Kingston was the weak link! He was the weak link, and Sandro Zhang knew it! The God King is simply trimming the fat! But the men stepping out from that curtain next? They are not weak links! They are genetic freaks of nature, and they are going to physically dismantle whoever steps into that ring!"

"We are about to find out, John!" Lawler cheered. "Because the next match is the one everybody has been waiting for! It is time for the World Tag Team Championship match!"

The stadium lights abruptly dimmed, shifting to a blinding, oppressive imperial gold.

The heavy, distorted, bone rattling bass drop of "SHOCK THE SYSTEM" completely hijacked the massive stadium speakers.

The reaction from the seventy thousand fans in Atlanta was instantaneous. A tidal wave of sheer, unadulterated venom cascaded down from the rafters. The boos were so incredibly loud, so sustained, and so intensely hostile that the sound barrier in the building felt like it was physically vibrating.

Stepping out from behind the massive entrance curtain were the reigning, defending World Tag Team Champions, Big E and Ryback.

They did not look like men who were coming out to wrestle a match, they looked like heavily armored tanks rolling into a warzone. The two absolute powerhouses of the Undisputed System wore matching burgundy and gold singlets, the World Tag Team Championships gleaming brightly around their massive, barrel like waists.

They did not pander to the crowd. They didn't smile. They carried the suffocating, terrifying weight of Sandro Zhang's ultimatum on their impossibly broad shoulders. If they lost these titles tonight, they were exiled from the most powerful faction in the history of the industry.

"Look at the sheer mass of these two men," Cole noted, his voice dropping into a serious register. "Combined, Big E and Ryback weigh nearly six hundred pounds of pure, unadulterated muscle. They are the enforcers of the God King's empire. They are the executioners."

"And they look angry!" JBL praised loudly over the deafening boos. "They look focused! They know that the Triple Crown Champion is watching them from his locker room! Big E and Ryback do not care who the Macho Man found to team up with tonight! They are going to run right through them!"

The two behemoths marched purposefully down the incredibly long entrance ramp, completely ignoring the screaming fans hanging over the barricades. They slid under the bottom ropes and entered the ring.

In perfect, terrifying synchronization, Big E and Ryback climbed opposite turnbuckles, unfastening their World Tag Team Championships and raising them high into the air, demanding the respect of the hostile crowd.

They hopped down from the ropes, retreating to their corner, pacing like caged, starving animals waiting for the slaughter to begin.

The arena lights plunged into absolute darkness.

The silence lasted for only a fraction of a second before the majestic, triumphant, and unbelievably iconic synthesized horns of "Pomp and Circumstance" echoed through the Georgia Dome.

The stadium absolutely, fundamentally erupted! The pop was historic, a visceral roar of pure nostalgia and adoration.

The Macho Man Randy Savage stepped out onto the massive entrance stage. He looked absolutely phenomenal.

The grueling physical toll of the Elimination Chamber seemed to have entirely vanished, replaced by the sheer adrenaline of WrestleMania. He was wearing a spectacular, sequined, neon orange and yellow cowboy hat, and a heavily fringed jacket that shimmered under the blinding spotlights.

Savage threw his arms wide, soaking in the deafening cheers of the seventy thousand fans. He pointed his finger high into the sky, spinning it around, letting the Madness radiate off him in visible waves.

"The leader of the Rebellion is here!" Cole screamed, completely losing his voice. "The Macho Man has finally returned to the Grandest Stage of Them All!"

"Look at the fire in his eyes, man!" Booker T cheered, clapping his hands. "He almost had the God King beaten at the Elimination Chamber, and tonight, he is looking to take a massive piece of the empire's gold!"

Savage strutted to the center of the stage, but he didn't walk down the ramp. He stopped, holding his ground, letting the music fade into a low hum.

"The million dollar question remains, gentlemen," Cole said, the tension palpable in his voice. "Randy Savage challenged Big E and Ryback for those tag team titles. He promised that he had a mystery partner. He promised that he had found the perfect man to help him bring down the Undisputed System. But who is it?!"

"It doesn't matter who it is, Michael!" JBL barked into his headset, shaking his head. "Savage could bring out an army, and it wouldn't make a difference! Big E and Ryback are going to chew them up and spit them out! There is no one on God's green earth who can save the Macho Man from the beating he is about to receive!"

On the stage, Randy Savage turned his back to the ring. He looked directly at the entrance curtain. Slowly, with a massive, knowing grin spreading across his bearded face beneath his sunglasses, Savage raised his arm and pointed directly at the entranceway. The entire Georgia Dome held its collective breath. A single, incredibly sharp, iconic guitar riff ripped through the stadium speakers.
