Alvida, Raki, Mikita, and Zala walked down the stairs. Alvida carried a Den Den Mushi that looked remarkably like Belo Betty, complete with a tiny red hat.
"Is it really appropriate to have a girls' talk with them?" Zala asked with a smile on her face. "They were trying to kill us just a few hours ago," she added.
Mikita smirked. "It's risky," Mikita responded. "They aren't exactly the friendly type when we fought them," she added.
"They are or were enemies," Raki added sharply. "Weakness will be our end if we let our guard down now," she added as she looked at the girls.
Alvida led the way, her heels were clicking. "Not everything is about the fight, Raki, my love has taught us that," she winked. "We have a tradition for girls' talk. We will make them understand who we are, and who my love is," she said.
"He is that type of person," Mikita remarked.
"We are all smitten by him," Zala added. "Especially you," she said as she looked at Mikita.
"Equally," Mikita replied with a smile.
"They both are already there," Alvida said with a smile.
They arrived at the heavy iron bars of the sea prison cell. Inside, Helsing sat on the bed. There was a large plate of food next to her.
Naomi Drunk laid on the bed. She thought this was a very soft bed. She looked at the large bottle they gave her. It was fine alcohol.
Alvida sat down on a stool in front of the cell, and the others followed, forming a semi-circle. She placed the Den Den Mushi on a small table.
"So!" the Den Den Mushi shouted. The voice of Belo Betty booming through the room. "Are these the latest sisters who might be scum? Look at them. They look like they've lost their spirit," she added.
Helsing and Naomi looked up at the snail. "Who is that?" Helsing asked as she narrowed her eyes.
"She's a sister and part of the crew," Alvida said smoothly.
"Specifically," Mikita added with a smirk, "She's a former Revolutionary Army Commander," she added.
"Well, former or current," Belo Betty said through the Den Den Mushi.
Helsing and Naomi looked shocked. The Revolutionary Army, they thought. "The Revolutionaries?" Naomi stammered. "You... are you part of them?" she questioned.
Zala smiled gently. "No, we aren't part of the Army. But most of us here are former enemies of Ben. We were on the opposite side, just like you," she replied.
Helsing looked at each of them. "There is something very strange about this ship," she muttered.
"He is strange," Raki remarked.
"Strange in a good way," Zala replied.
"How are you both doing?" Alvida asked. "Are you being treated well?" she questioned.
"I've been better," Naomi grumbled. She thought this was more luxurious than those hotels.
Helsing simply gave a stiff nod. "It is okay," she replied. She thought this was their prison cell.
Alvida leaned forward. "Are you part of the Love Pirates yet?" she questioned.
"No," Helsing said weakly.
"No," Naomi also said weakly. Their voices barely were a whisper.
Raki let out a short laugh and smiled. "At least you've made your decision quickly. That saves us a lot of trouble," she said.
Alvida smiled and pulled out a picture of Ben and held it up. "I'll ask one more time. Do you want to be with him?" she asked.
There was silence in the room. Helsing looked at the photo, then away.
Naomi looked at the photo as well. She then stared at the floor.
"Answer the question!" Belo Betty barked through the snail. "Don't waste our time with silence," she added.
"We're confused," Helsing finally admitted as she looked at Alvida. "Why are you doing this? I tried to capture your princess," she said.
"And I tried to blow you up," Naomi added.
"Some of us have done worse," Mikita responded.
"My love gives us flexibility," Alvida said. "If you don't wish to join right now," she added.
"I have things I want to do," Helsing continued softly. "Just one thing," she added.
"Me too," Naomi added.
Alvida tucked the picture away. "My love has already given his permission for you to leave," she said.
"Permission?" Helsing asked, her brow furrowing. "You say like we need his permission," she said as her voice went quieter and quieter.
The girls stared at them. Helsing and Naomi felt something in their body.
"Why would he trust us so easily?" Naomi questioned.
"Because my love is going to give you each a Mythical Devil Fruit," Alvida revealed.
The cell went silent. Even the air seemed to still.
"What?" Helsing questioned in shock.
"Typical of him," Belo Betty said through the Den Den Mushi, though she was smiling. "He's taking a huge gamble on you two. He really is a fool for a pretty face," she added.
Naomi's jaw dropped. "A Mythical type? Just like that?" she questioned. "He's too... he's too trustworthy. He's almost innocent," she added.
Raki's expression hardened slightly. "That's why we are here. We make sure evil pirates don't take advantage of his kindness," she responded.
Helsing looked at Raki and then back at Alvida. "I see. You are the hard and tough ones. The shields," she remarked.
"Someone has to keep them in line," Belo Betty remarked. "Ben dreams big, so we have to be strong enough to support those dreams," she said.
"We might be scary, but the one you fought is even scarier when she's pushed," Mikita remarked.
Helsing thought back to her duel with Vivi. She remembered the Princess's eyes. "You're right," Helsing whispered. "She was... unexpected," she added.
Naomi looked around the cell. "Do you guys do this all the time? Just sit around and talk to prisoners?" she questioned.
Alvida laughed. "Girls' talk is very common on this ship, though usually, we do it in the lounge with tea, not in a dungeon. Once you're out of those cuffs, you'll see," she said as she got up. " Now I will ask you again, will you join us?" she questioned.
"Yes," Naomi and Helsing responded. They both felt their heat skip a beat.
"Good answer," Alvida responded.
Alvida, Raki, Mikita and Zala all left the room. "They are going to join us," Mikita said.
"Well you heard them," Zala added.
"When we first entered the room, they had already made up their mind," Raki commented.
"He has some ability," Belo Betty said through the Den Den Mushi.
"But they said they will be leaving," Mikita said.
"That is okay since they are one of us," Alvida replied.
