"What are you?" the creature spat, its voice shaking with a mixture of anger and disbelief. "This is nonsense! You should be dead and gone—not back in your damn skeleton body!"
Ty's expression didn't change, though the sockets of his skeletal face seemed to narrow ever so slightly, exuding a cold and deliberate menace. "What I am isn't your concern," he said, his voice sharp and clipped, reverberating with an almost metallic undertone. "The real question is: What are you?"
The creature flinched as though struck, its claws curling reflexively. "This wasn't what was promised!" it growled, its ember-like gaze darting between Ty's skeletal form and the others still on the battlefield. "Regardless, I have my form now, and that's all I need."
Ty didn't respond immediately. He simply stepped forward, his skeletal frame cracking faintly with each deliberate motion. The dark red flames under his feet left faint scorch marks on the ground, his presence commanding and unyielding.
