She pressed the crystal against Ty's skeleton, her movements frantic but precise. The black bones shimmered and, in an instant, vanished into the crystal's gleaming depths.
She felt the weight of the skeleton disappear from her hands, and with it, a small measure of the burden that had been crushing her chest since the fight began.
With Ty's remains safely stored, she scooped up Blue's unconscious form, cradling the tiny figure against her chest. Blue snuggled deeper into JJ's hold, a soft snore escaping her lips, the fairy blissfully unaware of the chaos unfolding around them.
