Time passed and Austin got used to Nezha's existence, that he began to see and treat her as his daughter.
His mother, Amanda, also warmed her heart toward her and treated the little girl as her own as she was just too sweet and cute in every sense.
She always smiled and laughed warming up the hearts of those around her.
This made Austin very happy and thought that living a life like that wasn't bad. He got to enjoy being with his wives and daughter and living a life he truly loved.
He had never interacted with Rias and her peerage since what happened that day, even Issei, that should have been in his class never attended since then, but Austin didn't care or even think about it. What he had said was what he wanted to say for long since he watched the show years ago.
Once he said that, he felt good, especially to Issei and Rias.
Anyway, after so many days, Austin didn't expect to get a call from his mother in Kouh while he was enjoying some quality time with his wives.
"Is something wrong, mom?" Austin said through the phone while being hugged by Tina, whose belly became bigger and bigger with each passing week, soon she would be giving birth.
"No, honey, it's just....someone wants to see you." Amanda said as she glanced at the person standing in front of her.
"Did they tell you their name?" Austin said as he caressed Tina's soft black hair making her purr like a kitten.
"Yes, they say the name is Grayfia."
Austin who heard that raised an eyebrow in confusion as he wondered what that silver hired maid wanted.
He thought that she should be angry or annoyed by what he had said to Rias but hearing that she wanted to meet him made him intrigued.
"Tell her I will he there shortly." He spoke.
"Okay honey, be safe." As she said so, he waited for a moment before hanging up.
"Leaving already, my dear~" Tina said softly feeling sad that he was leaving already, she wanted him to stay longer.
"Don't worry love, I will go and come back again to continue our quality time." He said as he understood how lonely she felt without him, not only her, but also his other wives, they all loved being around him and he too felt the same, but if he did, they wouldn't train and wouldn't get stronger and depend on him forever.
They need to be strong as he couldn't be with them all the time.
And they understood that, that's why they let him go to Kouh town without them.
Anyway, Austin kissed Tina on the lips making her sigh in pleasure as she responded before they separated.
"Come back to me safe, darling~" she said and he nodded before kissing her forehead then teleported back near his house in Kouh.
He walked toward it and opened the door.
"I'm back!" He said making Amanda's eyes lit up as she heard his voice. She immediately walked to the entrance to see him.
"Welcome back honey~" she said as she hugged him before they walked back to the living room where he saw Grayfia already standing up.
He looked at her for a moment trying to find a reason for her coming here.
She bowed to him out of respect before straightening her posture like the disciplined maid she was.
"To whom I owe this visit, maid of the Gremory?" Austin said in an indifferent tone as he walked and sat on the couch. "Sit." He then said making her unconsciously follow his order and sit on the couch opposite to him.
He looked at her and waited for her to speak while Amanda went to the kitchen to prepare some refreshments for them.
Grayfia looked at him silently before she parted her alluring red lips and spoke.
"I came carrying Sirzechs-sama`s order." Her voice was like a cold melody, making you feel cool and refreshed.
"Hmm… and what does he want?" Austin asked.
"He wanted to organize a meeting with you, my lord." She said in a voice filled with respect and discipline as her eyes never left him for a second with her hands placed upon each other in front of her.
Austin went silent for a moment when he heard her words.
'A meeting you say, huh.' He thought as his cold calculating eyes gazed at the silver haired maid who flinched for a second with his gaze.
He already had a guess for the reason for this meeting she was talking about.
"The reason for the meeting?" He asked.
"I don`t know as he didn`t tell me, I only came to deliver his message." She said.
Austin thought about it for a second. He didn`t expect it to be a friendly meeting to exchange pleasantries or the beginning of some kind of friendship. No, it was far from that.
His identity, the power he revealed that day, the way he carried himself, all of that made Austin a being to be cautious against and try to be on his good side rather than his bad side for they know that he could kill them all if he wanted.
So, the reason for this kind of meeting with one of the devil kings of the underworld was to try to win him over and be on his good side to make an ally out of him.
'How laughable. The privilege of the strong as they say.' He thought as he looked at Grayfia.
Austin, when thinking about it felt that it was really laughable but at the same time was reality, as only the strong could do whatever he wanted and put his own rules for others to follow. After all, rules were made by the strong for the weak for to follow and feel safe and for the strong to break and change.
"When and where?" He suddenly said making Grayfia`s eyes widen slightly for a moment that Austin noticed as she didn`t expect him to agree for the meeting. She already prepared several ways to persuade him as Sirzechs told her to try and make him accept the meeting as best as she could.
"Didn`t expect me to agree?" Austin said with an amused smile as he enjoyed her reaction. She always looked cold and like I-was-following-the-text-book kind of person, so seeing her mask of discipline and strictness falling for a second like that was amusing to him.
And she could only nod at him as he was right, she didn`t expect that.
"Don`t think much about it." He said signaling for her to tell him the place and time for the so-called meeting.
"It will be three days from now, I will come and fetch you, my lord." She said.
Austin nodded and said. "Then I will be waiting."
