Chapter 52 - Chapter 52:One less

Meanwhile, the battle against Har'arm continued with increasing intensity.

Suka, perched atop his gigantic tiger, raced along the rocky walls of the chamber. The creature leaped from wall to wall with impressive agility, dodging Har'arm's relentless attacks.

With a simple flick of his fingers, Har'arm manipulated the surrounding rock. Immense blocks detached themselves from the ceiling or erupted from the floor, hurtling directly toward Suka.

"Tss…" Suka conjured a bow in his hand. A burst of light energy concentrated, forming a shimmering arrow. He slowly nocked a shot, his gaze fixed on Har'arm.

Then—

He fired.

The arrow instantly multiplied into ten identical projectiles, each charged with explosive energy, hurtling straight toward Har'arm.

Har'arm vanished abruptly.

Teleportation.

He reappeared high above, perched calmly on a rocky structure. The arrows crashed into the very spot he'd occupied just seconds before.

BOOM! Several explosions rang out, the room shaking with the impact.

Suka gritted his teeth slightly.

"Damn... it's going to be tough getting an arrow into this bastard's hide..."

At that very moment—

A gigantic boulder hurtled toward Daru.

He simply raised his hand.

SWISH! The boulder shattered into a thousand pieces, the fragments raining down around him like debris.

Meanwhile, Yamero, filled with burning rage, seized an enormous rock weighing over a hundred tons. His fingers sank into the stone under the sheer force of his strength.

With a roar, he hurled it at full speed toward Har'arm.

The boulder sliced through the air.

But Har'arm remained motionless. His bandages suddenly unfurled in the air, like living blades.

SHHHHRAK

The rock was sliced in two without the slightest difficulty.

The two halves crashed down behind him with a deafening roar.

Har'arm slowly placed his feet on the ground, his cold gaze directed towards the three combatants.

Suka leaped from his tiger's back and landed heavily on the ground. The majestic creature vanished instantly in a cloud of shimmering light, as did the bow he held, which dissipated into luminous particles.

A heavy silence fell.

Suka slowly advanced toward Har'arm.

Beside him, Daru and Yamero also rose, their auras fully extended, causing the air around them to tremble.

Suddenly…

Wings appeared on Suka's back.

White feathers emerged along his arms, while his skin was marked with fine, luminous lines. His fingers lengthened slightly, revealing sharp claws, gleaming like blades.

Har'arm watched the scene, silent, but his eyes betrayed a faint interest.

Without a word—

The three of them charged.

Daru opened the attack.

He swept his hand upwards through the air.

A gigantic, slicing arc of energy formed instantly, cleaving the air with a deadly hiss and heading straight for Har'arm.

The latter immediately leaped upwards to avoid the attack.

But…

Suka was already behind him.

His wings beat violently.

A colossal torrent of wind was unleashed, compressing the air and striking Har'arm head-on. Destabilized, his body was propelled hundreds of meters, tearing through the air like a projectile.

Yamero disappeared.

Then reappeared above Har'arm.

His two hands clasped together, forming a colossal hammer, he unleashed his attack with crushing power.

BOOM! Har'arm crashed violently to the ground, the terrain cracking beneath the impact.

Without hesitation—

Yamero immediately extended his hand.

Hundreds of plasma energy spheres formed around him.

"Die!"

He hurled them all simultaneously toward the spot where Har'arm had just crashed.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOM

A titanic explosion engulfed the entire area.

The ground trembled.

The air warped.

A massive cloud of dust and energy rose, covering several kilometers.

Suka landed gently nearby, his wings still outstretched.

Daru observed the area, his aura ready to explode again.

Yamero remained motionless, his gaze burning, staring at the explosion.

As smoke still filled the battlefield, a red beam brutally pierced the opaque cloud. The attack sliced through the air with deadly precision, aimed directly at Suka.

But Daru intervened instantly.

He raised his hand, and a spatial force field materialized before him.

BOOM

The beam crashed against the barrier, causing the air around them to vibrate. The ground cracked under the pressure.

In an instant, Har'arm appeared before Yamero.

Without hesitation, Yamero launched the first attack, a direct punch charged with raw energy. Har'arm tilted his head slightly to the side, dodging the attack with disconcerting ease.

Yamero immediately followed up with a second strike, this time with his left.

Har'arm raised his palm.

CLACK

He blocked the attack cleanly. Then, with a fluid motion, he pulled Yamero toward him and delivered a powerful elbow strike to his abdomen.

The impact sank deep into Yamero's body.

BOOM! Yamero was propelled upward.

Without losing a second, Har'arm's bandages extended, wrapping around Yamero's body like living snakes. They yanked him brutally toward the ground.

CRASH! Yamero was violently slammed against the ground, creating a massive crater.

Har'arm slowly turned his red lens toward Daru.

Then he vanished.

In a fraction of a second, he appeared directly to Daru's right and launched a side kick.

Daru raised his arm and blocked the attack.

But Har'arm immediately used his other foot to grab Daru's arm, then spun around with supernatural fluidity.

He sent Daru spinning uncontrollably before finishing with a spinning back kick.

BOOM! Daru was propelled hundreds of meters, ricocheting off the ground at incredible speed before crashing violently into a distant wall.

Suka immediately took flight, soaring into the air to stay out of range.

Har'arm smiled slightly.

His bandages stretched out, taking the form of dark wings.

He rose into the air.

In a few seconds, he was face to face with Suka.

"You think staying up high is any advantage? So pathetic."

He continued, his tone calm and contemptuous:

"It's not too late yet... Submit to me, and I will spare your miserable lives." Suka smiled slightly. "I think you should remain silent… and more focused when you're involved in a fight." A shiver ran through Har'arm.

He sensed the danger.

But it was already too late.

Yamero and Daru appeared simultaneously.

Yamero unleashed a dense, destructive red defragmentation energy.

At the same moment, Daru summoned a spatial cube, compressing energy and multiplying its power exponentially.

The combined attack headed straight for Har'arm.

Har'arm immediately tried to teleport away.

But Suka appeared behind him.

He grabbed Har'arm by the nape of the neck and back, immobilizing him with his wings.

Har'arm murmured,

"You're really an idiot… you're likely to die with me."

Suka calmly replied,

"Don't be so sure… you'll be the only one to die." A luminous mark appeared on Daru's body. Mark of Oros.

Instantly, Suka teleported to Daru's side.

A fraction of a second later—

The attack struck Har'arm.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

A gigantic explosion engulfed half the room.

A colossal shockwave swept across the entire space, pulverizing the floor, destroying the walls, and hurling debris for miles.

The battlefield had just been transformed into a massive crater…

The other half of the room was completely pulverized. Not a single rock, not a single pillar remained. The floor, hollowed out by the impact, formed an immense crater, a testament to the violence of the battle.

In the center of this chaos, Har'arm's half-destroyed body moved slowly across the floor.

His lower body was completely shattered, his bandages torn, releasing a dark aura that dissipated into the air.

A heavy silence fell.

Then suddenly…

Har'arm slowly raised his trembling hand.

His fingers formed a triangular symbol… resembling a pyramid.

The air vibrated immediately.

A macabre, malevolent energy gradually enveloped Har'arm.

The floor began to shake violently. Gigantic cracks ran across the surface.

A super-powerful shockwave exploded around him.

BOOM! Sand, debris, and dark energy rose into the air, forming a shadowy storm.

Then…

The dust slowly settled.

Har'arm reappeared.

Completely transformed.

He now wore golden pharaoh's armor, adorned with ancient and forbidden symbols.

His body levitated in the air, seated atop a gigantic pyramid that had just formed beneath him.

His aura had become overwhelming.

He raised his head slightly.

"Mythical power… Akhenaten, the evil solar pharaoh."

A terrifying pressure filled the entire room.

Without wasting a second, Daru and Yamero unleashed their power in turn.

A blue energy enveloped Daru.

The space around him warped slightly.

When the light faded, Daru appeared in a new form.

A long cloak adorned with space symbols billowed around him.

His hair had grown long and was tied back.

His eyes shone with a cosmic glow.

The space around him seemed to bend to his will.

Then it was Yamero's turn.

A red energy exploded around him.

His body began to tremble violently.

His muscles swelled.

His bones cracked.

When it dissipated…

Yamero was transformed.

A being half-man, half-werewolf.

His hind legs were massive.

He was over two meters tall.

Sharp fangs protruded from his jaws.

His black claws seemed capable of tearing through steel.

His scarlet eyes stared at Har'arm with bestial rage.

A heavy breath escaped his maw.

Daru raised his hand slightly.

"That's it." Yamero growled, ready to pounce.

Facing them… Har'arm, seated atop his pyramid, watched them with a disturbing smile.

The three advanced together.

Har'arm slowly extended his hand toward the three fighters facing him. Behind him, the black pyramid pulsed, as if animated by a will of its own.

Then—

Hundreds of black beams, enveloped in crackling red lightning, erupted with a deafening crash.

They sliced through the air, tearing space in their path.

Suka reacted instantly.

He flew into the air, narrowly avoiding the blasts, but the beams pursued him, tracking his every move like predators.

"They're following me…!" Daru, however, remained on the ground. He crossed his arms, and a dense force field formed around him.

The beams crashed against the barrier in a shower of violent sparks.

"Tss… that's a strong blast…"

As for Yamero…

He was almost disappearing.

His movements became blurry, unreal. He dodged each beam with monstrous fluidity, leaping between them with prodigious speed. He ran along the walls, on all fours, like a raging beast, his eyes blazing with pure rage.

"You'll see…!"

In an instant—" Teleportation." Yamero appeared above Har'arm and the pyramid.

His mouth opened.

A colossal energy concentrated.

Then—" BOOOOOOOOOOM!" A gigantic beam erupted, completely engulfing the pyramid and Har'arm in a titanic explosion. Light ripped through the chamber, the walls trembled, the floor cracked under the pressure.

After the impact, Yamero fell heavily to the ground, his eyes fixed on the cloud of smoke and debris.

Silence.

Then… slowly… the smoke dissipated.

The pyramid was still there.

Intact. An immense, dark, and vibrant force field surrounded him, blocking the entire attack.

Yamero's pupils constricted.

"This can't be happening... damn pyramid... shit..." Har'arm reappeared, unharmed, his silhouette barely altered behind the protective covering.

Then he burst out laughing.

"You really thought... that this majestic pyramid would fall so easily?" He raised his head slightly, an arrogant smile forming beneath his bandages.

"Especially with such a pathetic attack?" His laughter echoed throughout the room, heavy and contemptuous.

And behind him...

The pyramid pulsed again.

As if it were feeding on the fight.

Suka managed to destroy the beams with a precise chain of attacks, shattering the energy blasts raining down upon them. He landed heavily on the ground, joining Daru and Yamero, all three lined up facing Har'arm.

A heavy silence fell.

Har'arm, motionless, observed them from behind his bandages, then declared in a calm, almost detached tone:

"I don't understand why you persist in clipping our wings... when we bring blessings to this world. Are you incapable of seeing beyond your own perspective?"

Yamero spat blood onto the ground, then raised his head, his eyes filled with burning rage.

"Wretch... how dare you claim to offer a solution to this world?! All you've done... is slaughter innocents!"

Har'arm inclined his head slightly. "When such a major change is about to happen… it's inevitable that some lives will be sacrificed."

He paused.

"If I have to kill a few thousand… to save billions… I won't hesitate for a second."

A chill ran through the air.

Then, without warning, Har'arm vanished.

He teleported out of the destroyed structure, appearing a few dozen meters away from them, in a vast open area.

Yamero, Daru, and Suka looked up at him.

For a few seconds…

Nothing.

No movement.

No sound.

Just three looks filled with hatred… fixed on a man ready to sacrifice everything.

Then—

Everything exploded.

Daru slightly raised his index finger.

A simple gesture.

An invisible slice flashed through space.

Har'arm's hand was cleanly severed.

Without hesitation—

Yamero appeared from his blind spot, his fist charged with energy, ready to pulverize his face.

But Har'arm reacted instantly.

He ducked, narrowly dodging the attack.

With a fluid motion, he swept Yamero's legs off balance.

Before he even hit the ground—

Har'arm grabbed his face with one hand…

And slammed him violently into the ground.

BOOM!

The ground cracked under the impact.

Daru and Suka recoiled slightly, surprised by the speed of execution.

Har'arm slowly rose to his feet.

His severed arm… already regenerating.

The fibers were rebuilding. The bones were reforming. The flesh was regaining its shape.

In a few seconds…

As if nothing had happened.

He raised his head slightly toward them.

"You're quick…"

A silence.

Then his eyes hardened.

"But that won't be enough."

As Har'arm prepared to charge toward Daru and Suka, his body suddenly froze.

An indescribable heaviness descended upon him.

As if an invisible, colossal mass had just crashed down upon his shoulders. His feet sank slightly into the cracked metal floor.

He tried to move.

Nothing.

His muscles responded… but his body refused to obey.

"Wh…?" He strained. His veins bulged beneath the bandages.

But it was useless.

Yamero walked slowly beside him, a predatory smile stretching across his face, his eyes shining with a wild gleam.

"Hehehe… so Har'arm… you can't move anymore?" Har'arm gritted his teeth, his gaze filled with rage.

"What… did you do…?" Yamero burst into a short, almost mocking laugh.

"My skill? It's simple."

He placed a hand on his own chest, tapping lightly.

"I amplify the pressure points of the people I hit… basically."

He paused, his smile widening.

"But I can also apply it to my entire body."

A heavy silence.

"So… when someone touches me…"

His eyes turned icy.

"The skill is applied directly to the point of contact." Har'arm's eyes widened slightly.

Understanding.

Too late.

Suka folded his arms, calmly observing the scene.

"You had the advantage… but your arrogance blinded you."

Daru added, a slight smile playing on his lips:

"Falling into such an easy trap… it's almost disappointing." The ground still trembled under the invisible pressure crushing Har'arm.

Yamero approached slowly, positioning himself directly in front of him.

He inclined his head slightly.

"Game over." He opened his mouth.

A burning glow formed in his throat.

Then—

BOOOOOOOOM! A blazing beam of intense heat erupted violently.

It pierced Har'arm clean through.

His bandages were instantly consumed.

His body disintegrated under the force of the blast, reduced to ashes in a fraction of a second.

The beam continued its trajectory, piercing the wall in the distance before vanishing.

Silence.

The pressure subsided.

The air suddenly became lighter.

No trace of Har'arm remained.

Daru exhaled slowly.

"It's over..." The unstable structure around them vibrated slightly... then calmed.

"As if something had just shattered completely." Yamero, Daru, and Suka stood for a few seconds.

Then—

Their bodies returned to normal.

The aura dissipated.

The accumulated tension evaporated in an instant.

And without warning…

They collapsed to the ground.

Breathless.

Exhausted.

But with smiles on their faces.

…We got him.

The fight against Har'arm… was over.
