The Second Master's voice carried a teasing tone, "Is it the horses that are extraordinary, or is it you all?"
You Er replied earnestly, "It's the horses that are extraordinary."
"Since you want these two horses, I assume you must have noticed something special about them."
The Second Master had been standing behind a tree, but now he stepped out, looking down at the people in the canyon, "These horses have small heads, tall frames, and are quite handsome, but in the end, they're just two horses. What could be so special about them?"
You Er spoke up because he saw that some of the bandits were holding bows and arrows, and he was worried they might harm the horses if they acted rashly.
He said in a deep voice, "These two horses are not ordinary horses; they are blood-sweating horses."

The bandits on the mountain quieted down for a moment, then began whispering among themselves.
