Selena Kensington's reassuring words didn't comfort Sterling Norwood much.
He lowered his head, kissed the top of Selena's head, then picked her up by the waist.
"Let's go upstairs and rest."
Selena wrapped her arms around his neck, smiling brightly as she watched Sterling carry her upstairs.

Sterling laid Selena on the bed in the bedroom and covered her with a blanket.
"Sleep, take a rest."
"Okay."
Once Selena closed her eyes, Sterling left the bedroom.
He went to the study.
After entering the study, Sterling called Dr. Norwood.
"Tell me the results of the recent examination."
Sterling's voice carried a subtle chill.
Dr. Norwood dared not hide anything and told Sterling the recent examination results.
"...Madam's physical condition is all good; nausea, vomiting, and lethargy are normal early pregnancy reactions..."
