"Forget it, let's go." Qin Xue didn't want to continue the conversation.
She had been pondering over something these past two days, not wanting to doubt anything, yet unable to voice her questions.
"Xue'er?" Chu Molin furrowed his brow, unsure of why she was upset.
"I'm fine, let's go, or we'll miss the car." Qin Xue realized that perhaps she was overthinking things.
But it's not like she could pretend she didn't care at all.
"Alright." Chu Molin agreed, but kept glancing at Qin Xue, hoping she wouldn't keep anything bottled up inside.
Chu Molin knew her personality well; if she didn't want to talk about something, she wouldn't, treating it like her secret. She would rather leave clues for him to discover than tell him outright.
Sometimes, he found Qin Xue's nature quite stubborn.
But he loved her as a person, and he was willing to accept and embrace all these aspects of her.
