After the two bought fish and shrimp, at the checkout, Scarlett Glenn tugged at Dylan Young's hand wanting ice cream, "Dad, Dad, buy it for me, I want to eat, really want to eat."
Dylan initially didn't agree: "You forgot Mom said, in summer you can't eat things that are too cold, it will make your stomach ache."
Scarlett's constitution wasn't very good, after eating ice cream last time, her stomach started to ache. Since then, Nell Harris forbade her from eating overly cold things.
But, what child doesn't love ice cream.
"But, it's been so many days since I last ate it, Dad, Dad, you're the best, Dad..." Scarlett shook his hand, looking at him with big, clear, innocent eyes, wet and pure, no one could refuse her request.
Dylan had already softened. He finally said, "Alright, Dad will buy you one, but you can only have two bites, not more."
Scarlett nodded repeatedly: "Mmm, okay..."
